Is 4 days enough for a teacher to write a recommendation for college? I need it before winter break. Will this be rude?

Do you have any tips how I can preserve my begonias during the holiday season? I am going away for 12 days, then back for 3 then away again for 8. I give them about 250ml of water every 2nd day and they are indoors. Do you think they will still be alive when I come back or should I rather leave them with a friend?

I have 4 tattoos and had to get 4 waivers for them at MEPS and all are approved. I've just got 5th tattoo of a tribal design. Will I get in trouble if I dont get a waiver before I get in to boot camp or will they not even care since im already in??

My battery on my bike has gone flat. Can I hook it up to a battery charger without disconnecting all the leads? It has a datatool alarm etc and am just wondering if doing that will damage anything. Id prefer not to have to unhook it all if poss. I did try to bump start it but with no success. Its been out in the cold tooooo long. Well few weeks anyway without being ridden.

I did read somewhere not to use a battery charger you would use on your car but mine does have a switch for a bike so guess its ok. I have never had to charge the battery on my bike before!

Alright, so I'm finally moving out of my parent's house. No, I'm not a teenager, I'm in my mid 20s, so its about time!

I need any advice you can give me! (I have a job, so that isn't a problem!!!). What bills do you consider most important? What kinds of things should I stock my pantry with (like flour, vinegar, sugar, etc.) what are some basics you can't live without (Like your favorite kitchen appliance or tool), what do you wish someone would have told you before you moved out?

Ever since I have been married to my hubby I have always been indirectly put down by his mum & sis, funny thing is that they have never really complimented me and seem so absorbed about how beautiful and intelligent other members in there family are. I am a tv model and am doing a phd so frankly I do not need their praise, but its kinda strange coz if I saw anyone who had achieved what I had it would be so hard not to compliment them and wish all the best. I am not one to be arrogant either since I really like my hubby's bro's wife who is a house wife and had a baby boy really young, I like her caring nature. However in a way I sometimes envy the love and attention that she receives from my in laws. My hubby's sis put her bday pics on facebook, none with myself present but most with the other sis in law present.

I have been researching for a very long time, and am having the greatest difficulty with a G grandfathers name. The majority of my family are English, but when it comes to the Scottish its a nightmare.
I have my G Grandfather appearing in the 1881 English Census, and 1891, but as for finding him in the Scottish Census for earlier years is a nightmare, (both G grandparents were born in Perth Scotland apparently) and cannot find him or G Grandmother on 1901 England Census, not any of his children, bar my Grandad. Also when my Grandad and Granny had children the name changed from Mc to Mac.

I know that the many children the G Grandparents had were talked about as if they lived in England, and not so far away from my Grandad, but no trace.

The issue is also more strange as all Grandparents, historically worked for the Crown in Windsor in Windsor Great Park. I would have thought documentation would have been paramount there.

Any help would be appreciated.

I posted an ad to sell my car and one stupid **** commented on my ad saying it's too expensive even though the price I suggested was exactly according to KBB. I really hate this kinda person who tries to ruin someone else's business when they're not welcomed nor needed to intervene. If they dont' watn, just dont buy, why would they complain and so persuade all people to believe that way?

Because of this missed closing date, we now have numerous expenses due to lost wages, hotel bills, etc. We cannot close on our house down south until we close in ny. Are we owed any compensation from the buyers? When we asked our lawyer he said tough luck. We're talking almost $600 and it's adding up quickly.

Can anyone tell me, if you can create role over type effects like flash can with image ready? I dont have the money to buy flash cs 3, but i want to create pages that you can click on certain things on the page and have it take you to a differant page, or open certain files. Or at least have the page do something when you move the mouse over it or click on it.

Well... I got permission from her parents to marry her. her mom cried and her dad bought me a drink. We're leaving for Disney Land the day after Christmas. I'm proposing in front of Cinderella's castle because she's my princess and always will be! I haven't gotten the ring yet. I'm going out of town about 10:00. She thinks it's for "school" stuff. I'm shopping for her engagement ring. I have about $1,000 on me. Here's what I want to know. Should I go to a local store or to a big store like Kay or Jared's? I wrote this love ode to some poet friends and it won me poet of the year in San Francisco. If you can get through it all Bravo! And don't tell me this isn't a poem you don't win poetry awards for writing prose. I am using a French poetic form created by Oulipo school called cento which means you take lines already written by others and combine them into a work of your own and it is slam poetry as well, I won for slamming it.
