I tested at 109 but my boyfriend tested at 317. We received a free blood glucose monitor in the mail as a free sample. Neither of us has been diagnosed with diabetes. What do these numbers mean and how to lower them, ,if needed.

My son is 17 and Missouri law prohibits those under 21 to handle alcohol. My son works for a 91M locally owned company & the warehouse guys drink either on the job (management) or after hours on the company property. One of my son's "requirements" is to keep ice on the bosses beer. I found out today, that the boss has been treating my son similar to a slave making him retrieve his beers for him, making him refill his beer cooler and the boss throwing his beer cans at my son when he's done making my son pick them up and throw them away. This is unlawful practice but the boss has been there for 20+ years and keeps the beer cooler hidden from upper management in a store room under a deadbolt and pad lock...the boss continually threatens my son and nephew (16), who also works there, if they don't do what he tells them to do he says he will fire them. They love their job but really can't stand this alcoholic he really treats them more like slaves - continually screaming at them/disrespectfu

I am in 8th grade and the school is doing this fundraiser for kids who can't afford to go on a field trip where kids sell Hershey with or without almonds, take 5, and Reeces peanut butter cups, kitkats, and carmelloes. however, there were so many people selling the boxes of candy alongside me, that the chances of somebody buying from me were one in a billion, making it hard to make any money.
I decided to buy butterfingers, mini recees, snickers, and kitkats from Casco because they are really popular and i make much more profit from selling Casco candy than school fundraiser candy, but people are telling me its illegal. I explained to them that i checked the candy for "no individual sail" text and there was none. Also, Casco candy was designed for people to sell because of the big boxes, from my understanding. My question is, is it illegal to sell candy you get at a store for a fundraiser? I am NOT lying when I say all the profits go directly into my hopefully possible fieldtrip.

...than never to have loved at all?
I loved, and lost him 3 years ago. We are still friends, but he has since remarried. For all the pain and agony I have gone through, (and am still going through, because I still cry over him sometimes).....I feel that it is better to never have loved at all. If I never met him, I never would be feeling so much pain.

I loved my stepdaughter. Her father wasn’t in the picture because of a selfish mother who was abused as a child and went through guys like water. I was just 100 on the list. She called me daddy. Her real father was no where to be found. However because I have 2 children from a previous marriage I have been raped by the law system financially. I want to be in the my stepdaughter’s life but don’t have the resources left if the courts decide I was acting as a father and have to pay child support to her mom. I already pay for my 2 and can barely afford to live but I love my stepdaughter and want to be in her life but can’t be made responsible for her like her real dad should because financially I’d be living on the streets if I had to support my stepdaughter. I miss her so much. I’m caught between a crazy law system and what I feel. What should I do? I’m the only dad she has ever known. If I throw caution to the wind I could get screwed by the court system saying I acted as the father so I should pay but I can’t live if have to support her and my two biological kids. She needs a father and I was it. I want to be able to live ok financially and still be a part of my stepdaughters life. Any advice? Should I give her a Christmas present and tell her her daddy (which is me in defacto) will always be there for her or just forget it because if the courts find me liable I can’t take care of any of them given my financial situation. It’s heartbreaking.

The thing is that we are both 20 and in college, and I feel that we cannot afford children at the moment. I am curious to know if it is mandatory that I allow him to do that. We are married, but I am just scared to death of an "accident." Are my fears irrational? Is this normal? Do most married couples allow that or am I being abnormal?

I have a sister who's son wishes she were dead he is very angry and has some mental health issues. She is very hurt by his words and he has been living with his father for some time now. The best way to describe the issues is a messy divorce and what I call the Blame Game where the parents blame each other and it goes back and forth. Yet the child is stuck in the middle. I told her to keep silent about his dad reguardless how she truely feels to her son, she needs to act like the dad is father of the year per-say around him.Yet how does she deal with the fact her son wishes she were dead? Also wants nothing to do with her? They are going to therapy as well. Yet I want to help her with more advice on how to help them both before the relationship is more damaged.

I sent a letter out as first class (it was only one ounce) on Nov. 27, and it still hasn't arrived there yet. It usually takes 2-4 days for my letters to reach people. I live in IL, and it was sent to her university in NJ. She says that the mailing system there is super slow, so I should wait a couple more days... I'm still worried though, so could anyone give me some information about mail sent to universities? It is usually really slow? It's almost the holidays, so I'm putting that into consideration, but it's been about a week now (not including Sunday)... What's the longest amount of time it could possibly take? Thanks!

Surely, all believers are (Ikhwa) brothers and sisters. So make peace between your brothers and sisters, and fear Allah that mercy may be shown to you.

And hold fast, all together, to the rope of Allah and be not divided; and remember the favour of Allah which He bestowed upon you when you were enemies and He united your hearts in love, so that by His grace you became as brothers; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah explain to you His commandments that you may be guided.

I was recently involved in a minor fender bender - the guy in front of me stopped suddenly and I slid right into him when I put on my brakes (ice on the road). I understand that my coverage will cover the person's car I ran into, but what about my car? I realize than plans range considerably, but I'm looking for what happens generally in this situation.

Thanks
