I'm trying to make a reservation with Amtrak for my train trip to Vegas, but the only reservation they got for me is a trip on the bus ( which I don't prefer) Besides Amtrak which other site can I make a train reservation with? What is the name of the train station in Las vegas? Do you know the address of the station?

You can't get to Vegas by train anymore - I'm thinking they shut it down about 10 years ago.

You can get to Kingman, AZ or Needles, CA - then travel to Vegas by greyhound. Both are a little over 100 miles away.

Amtrak no longer serves Las Vegas. The "Desert Wind" train between Los Angeles and Salt Lake quit several years ago. The closest stations on the east-west Amtrak routes are at Barstow, California and Flagstaff, Arizona.

I don't know the vegas info but it's on the Amtrak site. A lot of the routes have through way busses. They really aren't bad. I leave school, hop a train into LA and catch a bus to where hubby lives. It makes it easy to study.

Sorry but NO train stops in Las Vegas, and has not for over ten years. So you either take a plan, drive or ride a bus.

The old train station was at the Union Plaza, since sold and changed name to Plaza, and the train station was deleted.

you may take the la Metrolink from la Union Station so a ways as San Bernardino. I did that once, yet had a pal who became into staying in Lake Arrowhead that weekend and who then swung by using the San Bernardino station to %. me up by using automobile and we then continued directly to Vegas. So, once you're fortunate to have a pal or acquaintance in that section, in keeping with probability you may make it a shared journey to Vegas.
