What is going on with the youth in America? Is heartless internal strife and slaughter the new "cool" thing? The Nebraska shooter left a note on the crime scene saying, "Now I'll be famous".
Where are America's schools or parents going wrong? Bush is harboring a larger war within the US than the imagined ones he fights elsewhere.

I know the Tigers made a lot of noise already by reeling in a couple of Big Fish (pun intended) but looking at the rotations I dont see how Detroit can even fathom standing up to Boston in a 7 game series, and this assuming the Soxes don't land Santana. For the record I'm a Yankee fan, but Boston is just too good to put the preseason ring on anyone else's finger.

...don't you think atheists come here to take a breather from answering truly difficult/mind-boggling questions such as those from
"Arts & Humanities"
"Business & Finance"
"Education & Reference"
"Social Science"
and "News & Events"

because once in a while, you can actually answer a question without being wrong or right.

So do true bible-followers shun works of evil like business and science? If not, are they pure Christian? Also, if not, can they answer those other questions too?

My son is finally coming home ( 2 months late) in a little over 8 days time!
The sad thing is he's in morning over a women I'll just call "BETH" (Civil Engineer) a civilian contractor who he started to see when he was in IRAQ, and later purpose to her.
She was killed 2 weeks ago.

This is in fact my step son who I raised almost from the hospital, I love and know he's mine regardless of what his father say. His father wants my son to stop contacting me but he refuses and telling him I'm his mother.
The thing is my son now in morning has to put up with this B.S. and it's really not fair to him because of his situation!
How can a mother help her son without upsetting him and make him take sides?
I know he in a lot of pain now , and he's coming home to more pain whats a mother going to do?

It’s hard to get an unbiased opinion from friends and family about this. My dad has many good qualitites and has always been for me in a conventional sense. While he regrets it, he moved away when I was 13, I still saw him often, but I was mostly raised by my step dad. I would like my step dad to walk me down the aisle not because of the cultural meaning but because it would mean a lot to me for him to share that moment with me. My real father doesn’t believe in the idea of marriage and thinks my decision to do this is rather silly. He drinks a lot, and tends to go off on people for no apparent reason other than he’s unhappy. I know having my step dad walk me down the aisle would hurt my real dad. He has chosen to ignore how his behavior affects me my whole life – So should I consider his feelings? Yes, I should, but how much? My options at this point are A) walk with my step dad or B) walk alone.

With all of the exploring that human beings are doing, I would wonder what would happen if we found such a scenario. There are surely many planets that are "suitable." It's just a matter of finding one that offers the "exchange" that humans can tolerate.

The funniest things I've ever seen my dogs lugging around was my wolf Raven dragging around a full kiddie pool. I guess he didn't like where I put it. Also, my American bulldog thinks 6ft fence planks are sticks.
So what funny things have you seen your dogs lug around?

I'm amazed at some of these names I'm seeing in here. Doesn't anyone know that Bailey meant the outer wall of a castle or alternatively, its KITCHEN area?

Does anyone know that COY means quiet and shy? And that Coy lends itself to be mocked with coydog?

Why do people make up their kids' names? If people want something unique, remember that your KID WILL GROW UP TO BE AN INDIVIDUAL. Giving him/her an abnormal name will lead to a lifetime (a lifetime, people, 80 years!) of frustration (with trying to explain how to say their name because it defies established rules of pronunciation, for example) and possibly embarassment. (Venerea or Corona, anyone?)

Out of curiosity, what level of education does a person have who names their child after a beer?

Please tell me I'm not alone and that someone understands what I'm trying to say.

I have recently bought furniture from Levitz, but they are now bankrupt and so my furniture will not arrive. How do I get my money back? I used a mastercard from Taiwan, so I called the credit card company but they said that since Levitz already withdrew the money from a bank in the US, they cannot get the money back. They said that I could fill out a form and they would deal with Levitz and get back to me within 45 days. I went back to Levitz and they said I could also go to the bankruptcy court. I am confused, what do I do? Does it matter whether the mastercard is from Taiwan or the US? I know most companies refund you if the product does not arrive.
Thanks in advance for the replies. (Sorry, not sure which category to post this in)
