Sorry to hear you are having problems. Go to a local hair salon. They should have a few different choices on products that will slow down the loss of hair. I usually sell Nioxin but there are more out there. Most of the time, it will come in a kit with 2-3 steps.
Keep in mind most of these products do no regrow hair....I have sold several myself...occasionally it will produce some baby fine hair but it isn't the same. However, most of them will aid in retarding the loss of hair.
I hope this helps.

I agree with Julie who said Nioxin... that's the best thing out there... Rogaine is OK, but as soon as you stop using it, the problem is back, because Rogaine's active ingredient is a drug, once you stop using it the symptoms return, so you must use it for life. Nioxin isn't something that you necessarily can't stop using (but it's better if you don't) plus it's all natural so you don't have to worry about side effects.
Go to a salon that sells Nioxin to have a stylist recommend what formula you should be using for your hair, or you can read more about it on their website... http://www.nioxin.com/
Hope this helps you!

I know that Nioxin makes a good product for fine and thinning hair:
http://www.nioxin.com/index.cfm?objectid=FDFD8062-C291-0196-BA395476E6676097
You should also consult a dermatologist to possibly begin taking Propecia.
http://www.propecia.com/finasteride/propecia/consumer/index.jsp
It has the potential to help you stop losing hair and may even regrow some of the hair that you lost.
I don't think there are any shampoos that will stop hair loss as hair loss is caused by a chemical on the INSIDE of your body.
Good luck to you!

None that work sadly or you'd never see a bald man in his 30/40's etc....hair loss is hereditary..if you dad or grandad is bald so are you gong to be my friend!
Its quicker and cheaper to get use to the fact your going to be a slap head and stop worrying about it...worrying gives you stress and stress will just speed up the process.

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/0Sr3m
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.

you can bye shampoos that thicken your hair but the only ones that would really work and you would notice a difference is a product called kerastase which you can only go and buy in salons and it is quite expensive but kerastase is a very good brand!
