...don't you think atheists come here to take a breather from answering truly difficult/mind-boggling questions such as those from
"Arts & Humanities"
"Business & Finance"
"Education & Reference"
"Social Science"
and "News & Events"
because once in a while, you can actually answer a question without being wrong or right.
So do true bible-followers shun works of evil like business and science? If not, are they pure Christian? Also, if not, can they answer those other questions too?

because i've noticed everybody answers questions with the words atheist in it:
1) atheists support other atheists
2)Christians get hot over the word

I think it's because people keep putting the word 'atheist' in their questions.

I think everyone used to believe and then because of all the badness in the world today, they simply just gave up - But some still have hope that it would all change and God will do something.
Modern Disbelief—Should the Search Continue?
“God is no longer a habitual concern for human beings. Less and less do they call him to mind as they go through their days or make their decisions. . . . God has been replaced by other values: income and productivity. He may once have been regarded as the source of meaning for all human activities, but today he has been relegated to the secret dungeons of history. . . . God has disappeared from the consciousness of human beings.”—The Sources of Modern Atheism.

I think it's the fact that Athiests get bored sometimes, and they want to weigh in on religions, in a way only they can.
Consequently, i sense alot of sharpness in the question. oh well, ain't my question anyhoosit.
What's a true Bible Follower? i read the bible, and most of the stuff in today's printings of the bible have been screened and molded so that the "True" believers can say that they are the only right ones.

And some of us Christians get irritated that people keep asking atheists to justify their presence here. Really, even if it's intended sarcastically, that question is getting old.

Atheism *is* a religious position. The denial of a mythos and the adoption of a mythos are both equally strong ties to any forum discussing that mythos.

Umm no, i don't think that's why they come here. I think someone that asked a question earlier hit it right on the nose.

[canned answer] Just because we don't believe in religions doesn't mean we don't find them interesting. Take me, for example. I want to be a professor of religions.

Where do you propose we ask our questions?
Unfortunately, the gardening section only has questions about trees, bushes and shrubs.
