Simple Scenario: I was driving and stopped for a school bus. The driver behind me hit my car. I felt one impact. Damage was front his front bumper and my rear. No damage was found on his rear at scene of accident. Situation was written by police officer for following to close for driver of vehicle that hit mine. Driver who hit me claims that a phantom vehicle behind him came in contact with his vehicle which caused it to hit mine. Police officer did not pay much attention to this but I assume he probably took note of that.

We both have the same insurance company. My agent is telling me that my deductable is not waived that I may have to pay it due to the possibility of the phantom vehicle being involved.

My question: Why would I pay for the claim out of my coverage when a ticket was issued by a police officer in my favor and there is no actual evidence to conclude this phantom vehicle? I am the victim and I am paying 100%.

Christ described the finger-pointing,sin-seeing,
sign-seeking religious fundamentalists as "hypocrites & vipers"--so--unsurprisingly it was fundamentalists who engineered his death.

i am a war historian, and the second world war is my fav subject, in that war the bravery and courage of the soviet soldier was what defeated hitler and nazi germany, Hitler had nearly 2 million of his best troops and armour and air force on the eastern front to fight the soviets, while only haveing a measley 500.000 in the western front, on the eastern front the soviets fought house to house and had to hand battles, while on the western front the u.s and it's allies used aierl bombings form a safe high distance tactic, and even now in iraq...when a group of fighters start shooting at u.s forces from a house, instead of going in to raid the position with infantry they call in air strikes which results in killing may many civillians. This kind of cowardly tactic is used by america in iraq and afghanistan everyday,No wonder the iraqi civillian death rate is in the hundreds of thousands.

The people at number 14 are disgraceful, what with old cars in the front garden, broken windows and a total lack of respect for anyone else.

Why the other day I found old Jimmy walking along the street with a filthy old goat.

"Where are you going to keep that?" I asked him.

"In the house, there's no room in the garden with all the cars and all."

"In the house?" I exclaimed. "Where?"

"The bedroom." he said, "So he doesn't interrupt the telly."

"The bedroom? Where you and your wife sleep?"

"Yes, what's wrong with that?" says Jimmy.

"Well," I said, "for starters, what about the terrible stink?"

"Ah don't worry about that," says Jimmy leading the goat to his house, "He'll soon get used to that!"

Hi everyone, in the last few months I have had small fluid filled blisters appearing on the palms of my hands and sides of my fingers. At first I thought it could be washing up liquid causing them but after wearing rubber gloves constantly I still have them in fact there are more of them.
I am wondering if anyone here can firstly recommend a good cream to help this condition and second if anyone knows if there are protective gloves available that are rubber free??? I need heavy duty gloves because I do a lot of washing up with hot water.
Thanks to any one who answers.

I had my youngest daughter in May via c-section. AT the same time, I also had my tubes tied. Before then, even after having my three boys via section, I always got back on track with my periods within 2-3 months. Never skipped one. Now, my daughter is 61/2 months, but I am no where near normal. My periods come and go ...sometimes one day, sometimes for two weeks and I didn't even have one in November at all. I know this a little TMI and I will be discussing this with my doctor when I go for a Well Woman Checkup the middle of this month, but I was just wondering if anyone else had this experience or might know why I am?

Sadly, we just found out that my son's best friend @ preschool has been unexpectedly diagnosed with stomach cancer. This is my son's 1st yr. in preschool but really got attached to this boy. Its been 2 wks since his friend left for the hospital & my son has been isolating himself from others, aggressive behavior, throwing huge tantrums & even stepped backwards in potty training skills. I provide lots of TLC & his teacher is very supportive also. But he just won't talk about it. What else should I do to help him to deal with his feelings? How can I get him to surface them? We've sent gifts to his friend to let him know he's missed. any other suggestions?

I applied to a couple of jobs via email, and I didn't realize that the "confirm receipt of email" option had been clicked on in my email.

I ended up with a couple of automated "confirmed receipt" messages from some potential employers. I'm just wondering if it's rude to leave that option on and ask recruiters/employers to confirm receiving the application?
