I had my youngest daughter in May via c-section. AT the same time, I also had my tubes tied. Before then, even after having my three boys via section, I always got back on track with my periods within 2-3 months. Never skipped one. Now, my daughter is 61/2 months, but I am no where near normal. My periods come and go ...sometimes one day, sometimes for two weeks and I didn't even have one in November at all. I know this a little TMI and I will be discussing this with my doctor when I go for a Well Woman Checkup the middle of this month, but I was just wondering if anyone else had this experience or might know why I am?

I was gardening that evening after the tubal, and my periods were right on time. I didn't miss a beat!

But, I had mine tied a few months AFTER my C-sec because it ended up becoming such an emergency mess, that both my son and I almost died.

I had one older boy and then that was the end that! What a relief!

I guess I was different,
I had 4 C-Sections then had my tubes tied and never had a period after that. In 80 I got stripped of everything and felt even better. No more cramps anyway and no more yeast infections.....We where all happy then.

The most common symptoms experienced by women after a tubal ligation are abnormal menstrual periods and heavier bleeding. Most of these symptoms are due to anovulation (lack of egg release). If you may be having problems after a tubal ligation then we encourage you to listen to the radio blog show broad cast land to also consider joining our Tubal Reversal Facebook page to have discussions with other women in similar situations. (links below) Post tubal ligation symptoms can be shared with othersThe two patients, Megan and Kat, who participated in the radio show are members of a PTLS Facebook group and also a personal PTLS blog. Women who are interested in learning more can join to share experiences and seek personal advice.

It took me up to 6 weeks. Right after giving birth to my daughter they wheeled me back. I had her by natural birth( with meds of course). I hope it is nothing serious. Definitely talk to your doctor about it.
