I am a black dress, silver accessories kinda girl. I have a "cool" complexion so black and silver just "go." Every piece of jewelry I own is silver. My dress shoes are black. So this year I decided to mix things up a bit. I bought this ankle length chocolate velvet dress. It has long sleeves, an empire waist, and a low-cut square neckline. It's cool because the velvet is slit on each side up to the thigh to expose this gorgeous shimmery chocolate satin underneath. So my question is: What do I wear with it? I don't mind wearing gold, but I don't usually so I'm afraid I'll pick something gaudy. Shoes? Necklace? Earrings? If this helps I have very long brownish red hair that will be worn up. Should I skip jewelry and find a gold hair accessory? ARGH! Maybe brown wasn't such a good idea........

I purchased a package deal which includes phone service, high speed internet access, and cablevision.
Yesterday, I woke up once again my phone service was out and so was my high speed internet. This is not the 1st time. My phone has been out at least 5 or 6 times in the last 11 months. I called and was put on hold for 45 minutes each time. I felt stupid sitting in my back yard on my cell phone trying to get ahold of someone from the company to fix my service and being on hold until my cell phone almost set my ear on fire. My cell phone only sends and recieves calls in the back yard, so thats why I was out there in the 30 MPH wind gusts in 40 degree temperatures waiting and waiting and waiting. I finally called someon to ask for new service and they answered! I told the lady if someone did not at least aknowldege me on the phone, I was going to cancel my service. She called them too and finally told me she left a service request on the computer.
Should I find a new provider?

I know the war is getting worse, but i'm not blaming anyone, because war is a part of America. It has been since the Pilgrims came here, and even before. We did not get this country by backing down. But, myquestion is ...do you think that WW3 is around the corner?

Because today Osama's Message, and something about the Middle east's gulf guards are taking over..idk...but anyways what are your opinions?

Please no ignorance!

Lou Dobbs was a guest on the Michael Medved radio show this week and made the statement that our government is controlled by corporations and that the middle class has no representation in Washington at all. When asked by Medved when this came about Lou stated that it had started in the seventies.Medved immediatley began chirping in his right wing talk show host way because that would have implicated Ronald Reagan.I don't know if Lou was being a good guest or a coward but he qualified his statement to say that process was not complete until sometime between Bush Sr. and Bill Clinton.

When do you think that the process started?

to wade into the jaws of the enemy and debate in forums held by liberal leaning CNN and MSNBC? Something most republican strategists probably thought was a bad idea. Yet the democrats don't have the courage to debate on FOX. All the democratic hopefuls refused to do a debate hosted by FOX.

That tells me that the democrats are afraid of tough questions. What are they afraid of? That Americans will see what the liberal/socialist agenda of the democrats is truly about?

As an example...say you're on a diet and one day you cheat a little on it, how long does it take to see if that food made you gain weight? If i was to make a guess I would say about 24 hours because thats about how long it takes for the human body to digest a meal and absorb the fats and nutrients. But maybe someone out there has a medically educated answer. Thanks in advance!

I met a guy and I found out he has more kids than I care for--too many. I really don't think it will work for me. The problem is, he's very nice. I don't want to come off the wrong way, but when I found out about the kids, it put me off. My friend said I'm being picky. Help!

Do you swing? Have fetishes? Are hooking up every night? Prefer men? Women? Goats?

Personally, I don't discuss my sex life with my boss or coworkers, but perhaps I'm in the minority here? Why is it such a big deal to keep it out of all professions, including the military, just out of professional courtesy?

And before you jump down my throat saying I'm a homophobe, I swing both ways. And I'm ex military. Aren't you glad to know that?

There's this boy at my school. I don't know what it is but something attracts me to him!PROBLEM: he's 2 years younger than me.I'm 17, he's 15.He's a sophomore, I'm a senior I don't know what to do or think! My friends keep calling me a pedophile or sex offender and all the that other stuff...but I can't help it. I don't even know if he's intersted! Some days he stairs at me, and the other days he sees me but acts like I don't exist. Some of my friends say he's gay! Only because he dresses fashionable?! We live in NY. I mean, the fashion capital of the world? But anyway..I'm just really confused. Is it OK for me to like him? I want to talk to him so bad!But I'm afraid. I don't know what to say to him. And I know I'm turning 18 in 9 months and I also know the consequences of going out with him IF i ever do.

ugghhhh please help??

The Jewish claim: 4,000 years: Abraham was about to sacrifice Isaac on Mount Moriah, where the Jewish Temple is today. (By the way, the Muslims changed the story and said that Ishmael was being sacrificed then blamed us for changing our own history, or some other nonsense like that).
Archaelogical fact: 1100 BC, 3,100 years ago, David re-conquers Jerusalem for the Jewish people and makes Jerusalem his capital City. His son Solomon completes the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount, and transforms Jerusalem from the tiny town it was, to the citadel it is today.

Muslim claim: Muhammad had an out of body experience and went to Jerusalem on a winged horse that had a woman's face. Wow. Was he trippin' on a narghilah or what? He never left Saudi Arabia, c'mon.

Jewish claim: Jerusalem described and mentioned in detail thousands of times in the Torah and over 600 times in daily prayer.

Muslim claim: Never mentioned in Quran. Loosely referred to 1 time as the "farthest place."

I got a new battery for the FOB but I guess it deprogrammed. Does anyone have a clue on how to [re]program it?

The car is a 1995 Nissan 300ZX, and no, it doesn't have the same procedures as any other Nissan because you have to do something with the hatch. So don't look for an answer on the internet, hopefully someone who actually owns a 300zx can answer.
