That CANNOT be stated or denied with certainty. It WAS DONE, but not necessarily all the time.
Dragon Bob: part of your statement is well founded in SOME CIRCUMSTANCES, but not this one:
-- The SOLDIERS had control of the clothing and gambled for it (or part of it) among themselves in this case rather than giving it away -- Luke 23:34 "Jesus said, “Father, forgive them. They don’t know what they are doing.” The soldiers divided up his clothes by casting lots."
-- The traditional form of the cross WAS USED and is the most likely form since it readily allows the placement of the titulus above his head as stated in Matthew 27 "Above his head they placed the written charge against him. It read, THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS." ... It seems likely that the traditional form of the cross was developed BECAUSE it allowed this placement of a titulus, which seems to have been a common practice of Rome's Governors.

Roman records state that all those crucified were relieved of clothing just prior to being crucified. The clothing was given to the poor. Did you also know that most crosses were shaped like the letter T or I, and most were hung upside down.

Yes.
The Scriptures do not say, "And Jesus when he was crucified was hung naked with his privates exposed!" Because the people then already KNEW what would have taken place...cause it was common at the time.
The First Adam...otherwise known as Adam...was first walking around naked with God and Eve his wife. They were not ashamed at all.
Well then they sinned and realized...."I'm STARK NAKED!" So they tried to cover their shame with fig leaves. Which is like when we try to cover our shame with pathetic things like works instead of with Jesus.
Now God could have taken the leaves and said, "You two deserve to be humiliated! Leave and spend your days in naked humiliation!"
He would have had every right to do so.
Yet He didn't. Instead He killed an animal and used the skins of that animal to clothe them. Thus mercifully the Lord covered their shame and kept them warm in the cold.
So Adam (and Eve) who sinned and deserved to be left naked and humiliated were clothed and shown mercy.
Now Jesus...who had never sinned...got the opposite treatment.
He was stripped totally naked and humiliated in public and was NOT shown any mercy but complete cruelty.
Adam's shame was covered even though he sinned.
Jesus' was exposed even though He never sinned.
Jesus became, for us, naked and humiliated not so much by the nakedness...embarrassing as it had been...but by the fact He was made sin who knew no sin so that we would be made the righteousness of God in Him.
So Jesus hung there...naked and exposed...yes, that means His penis and scrotum and everything was showing. Further He bore in His own body our sins on the tree (cross). Truly I tell you that even if we were hung naked in Time's Square and all our sins were exposed...our humiliation would be NOTHING compared to Jesus'.
Yet Jesus did this for you and me to save us. We were the one's who deserve to hang naked and have our sins exposed and have us fall down on our faces in utter humiliation and shame. We deserve to laughed at and mocked and beaten and hurt and humiliated.
We are the ones who sinned after all.
But Jesus was...in our stead.
If we accept what Jesus has done, we need not fear the Great Humiliation that will come upon the lost and unrepentant on Judgment Day.
(Yes Jesus had a penis and scrotum. He was FULLY human as well as FULLY God and men have penises. Don't get all offended at me.)

Yes. The Roman soldiers took His clothes.
"Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout" (John 19:23).
Jesus was crucified on Mount Calvary. The ones who physically put the nails in His hands were Roman soldiers. And there were four of them. Jesus had on five articles of clothing, and four of them were given to the soldiers, one each. But His tunic, or His coat, they didn't want to rip. It was woven "without seam" - starting from the neck, it was woven straight down, and they didn't want to rip it in pieces.
Now look at verse twenty-four:
"They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did" (John 19:24).

He may have been, but he was not ashamed. The Romans wanted to expend the most grief from a person with this form of killing so it is highly possible.

Friend,
Is that so important to know? What if?
Let us read and understand what the Son of the God preached through word and by his actions.
Let us not divert to such points, which will no way help you progress.
