Depends what you are doing. If u want to multitask you're probably going to get a better result with laptop #2. Plus post #2 (above) has a point - its much easier and cheaper down the track to whack a gig of ram in on laptop 2 than to try to upgrade the cpu on laptop 1.

2. Its a better tech processor and stable but it has Little rams, you can always update more rams on it.
