Hello. If an offer letter says you are entitled to a year end bonus (to be paid in January) as long as you are employed and in good standing through December 15, 2007, is the firm obligated to give it to the employee if the employee quits on Dec 16?

I am torn between Wicca and Catholicism. Earlier today, for the first time, I attended my first mass. I like the ritualistic feeling to Catholicism, and I like the fact that I can easily hear the word of God by simply going to a church service. However, the problem is that I don't want to believe some of the main laws of Christianity. 1) I believe that every religion prays to the same God; we just view Him or Her a bit differently. I know that Christianity does not share this viewpoint. 2) I definitely believe in a female deity, and I am unwilling to give that belief up. 3) Lastly, sex before marriage, I don't think it's a big deal. Anyways, my question is, do you think it's okay if I still attend Catholic mass (in light of my beliefs)? Can I listen to their message of love and apply it to my life without accepting all of their values? Also, how can I get closer to God as a Wiccan? I am tired of reading books. Thanks!

- The willful ignorance
- The cynical indoctrination & poisoning of young minds with prejudice and hate
- The brutal imposition of 'biblical morality'
- The intrusive demands on how to act, what to think, what to believe, and who to kill for believing something else
- The inevitable miserable oppression consistently accompanying religion whenever it assumes any power

I'm the youngest second grade teacher at my school (I'm 26, everyone else is between 40 - 65).

After school all the other second grade teachers call each other by their last names but refer to me by my first name. I don't understand why.

Teachers who are older than me on other grade levels don't call me by my first name. Neither does the principal. So what gives?

I went to this dental office new. They evaluated my teeth, recommended a deep gum cleaning and the co-pay was estimated as $800. I never had deep gum cleaning. Plus the co-pay sounded too high. I told them that I needed time to think. At the meanwhile, I wanted a general cleaning done. I went to a general cleaning today, and that was the lousiest job I’ve even seen. The cleaning was done quickly and my teeth were still not clean. I called the office and the dentist said I needed a deep gum cleaning and a general cleaning had been done on me. The office eventually agreed to clean my teeth again tomorrow (assigned me a different dentist). I will go for the cleaning tomorrow, but probably will look for a new dental office for the future. What is your bet on their attitude toward me from this on? Will they try to do a better job knowing that I would complain otherwise, or they revenge for my complaint and my refusal to their recommendations?

now that it's winter it's too cold to just wear a polo-since i don't have many longsleeved ones-so i've been wearing sweaters. i'm getting kind of sick of the sweater/cami look so i want to start using my polos. i usually just wear a cardigan over them.

any other ideas that will stick with my classic preppy style on how to wear my polo? occasionally i do a hoodie on a downday when i dont' have the time to put an outfit together, but i'd really rather look cute.

also i have a few lacoste polos that i rarely wear because i have a hrd tiem figuring out what to wear over them. i have an orange one, a red one and also a light yellow one. any ideas on cardigan colors that would look good with them.
