Mars varies from 128 to 155 million miles from the sun.

It's closest approach to earth is about 35 million miles and farthest away can be over 200 million miles but right now it is about 58 million miles away.

Deimos orbits about 15,000 miles from Mars so adding or subtracting that would be negligible.

Hi. I varies all the time but the distance is the same as the distance to Mars for each. http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?s=Deimos&gwp=13
