what should i wear over my polos?

now that it's winter it's too cold to just wear a polo-since i don't have many longsleeved ones-so i've been wearing sweaters. i'm getting kind of sick of the sweater/cami look so i want to start using my polos. i usually just wear a cardigan over them.

any other ideas that will stick with my classic preppy style on how to wear my polo? occasionally i do a hoodie on a downday when i dont' have the time to put an outfit together, but i'd really rather look cute.

also i have a few lacoste polos that i rarely wear because i have a hrd tiem figuring out what to wear over them. i have an orange one, a red one and also a light yellow one. any ideas on cardigan colors that would look good with them.

Wear other things like tee-shirts and thermals under your polos to show them off. Delias has some cute thermals, sometimes they're on sale too. Good luck!

1] collect some sharp jackets - in corduroy, denim, velvet, tweed, herringbone, etc. Suggest black, gray, navy for cool tones [ greens, blues, purples ]; brown, olive, tan for warm tones [ reds, oranges, yellows ].
2] wear a long sleeve T or thermal under the polos.

dont wear anything over the polo, wear a long sleeve shirt underneath it, old navy has cute ones. also try thermal shirts underneath

Layer your polos with a contrasting colour long sleeved shirt -get a long sleeve shirt and layer it underneath. You can also layer a v- neck long sleeve under it too.

you could always invest in some thermals. a lot of stores have thermals for cheap for the holidays .... that way you can layer but still show off your polo :)
