I came across Howiej28 question to Jehovah's Witness about a member who left the organization and how he can no longer speak to him. Why not? I am studing and my bible instructor did not tell me that current memebers can not associate with ex-members. So if I had a friend who left the organization I would not be able to communicate with them??? Even if they are still a good person but no longer believes what I believe? I do not know if I want to be apart of an organization that does that. So the love of the organizaiton is conditional??
So I will only be able to communicate with Jehovah Witnesses? That sounds cultish.

Christmas is coming, and I don't know what to get my best friend!

She became a Baptist a few years ago after athiesm, and has built a strong passion for it. She's turning 17, loves crosses, has many Bibles (but hasn't really read too much of them), and likes some Christian Rock (I think she listens to a group called Casting Crowns?).

I want to get her something that will let her know I;m grateful for everything she does for me. I shopped for some crosses, but I want to get her something truly special. I practice a different Christian religion and am not too enveloped in it, so I need help on deciding what to get her!

I played first chair trumpet in my hs band. Earlier this school year a solo was given to the person in second chair. There was NO audition at all. Now that person is one of my best friends. When I go and talk to the director about why the solo wasn't auditioned for, he flatly told me he didn't think I could play it. Fast foward to two weeks ago. For the first time in 5 years he decides to hold chair auditions. We all try out. I get placed in third chair. Not to sound conceited or anything, but I know I'm better than the person in second chair( my friend got first). I am told by other music directors that I'm an good and an important part to the band, but all I can say is if they're gonna treat me unfairly then I'm not gonna participate. I plan on dropping band next semester and leave them hurtin. The whole program is revolved around favorites (the popular few), I'm an unfavorite, but I'm nice to everyone. My friends don't know that I plan on quiting. How do I tell them.

now this is a question on how " you" deal with things so i can have some insight on how to change my behavior. see im in a relationship with a great guy, but i get so jealous, sometimes i can control it but other times i get so mean, because i cant. jealousy isnt the only thing also when i get my feelings hurt( ie he wont eat my cooking even though im a pretty ok cook) i throw a guilt trip, or just get mean. i know some of these things some of yall wont get mad at but what do you guys do to deal with jealousy or getting your feelings hurt? i know he probably would never intend to hurt me but i dont want my behavior to eventually shoo him off. i dont need you guys to critque me or stupid jokes, just how do you deal with things?

My husband is an apartment locator in Texas About 4 months ago he changed agencies.When he left the old agency they still owed him about $1800 in unpaid commissions. The agency pays the agents when they get paid by the apartment complexes so we knew it would take awhile.At this point we know all the deals have been paid on and he called the broker 2 weeks ago to ask where his money is. The broker told my husband he would send him a check.Being way too trusting my huband bought this line of BS and low and behold we still don't have his money.He's tried to call the broker 3 times this week and the jerk wont answer his calls.I checked and this is not covered by the Tx workforce commision.So I'm at a loss and my husbands ready to give up. I refuse to let this go because my husband earned that money and it is rightfully his.Please if anybody knows what to do let me know.Thank you.
