This Q is about Tasers irrespective of who uses them. Those Q's come later in a different category. For now focus the Q on the topic and avoid the temptation of digressing. Ethical or legal comments are welcome bec this is the category for making those comments.

it would depend on the power and brand of the tazor. they have the hand tazers which are built to be used at close range, there used for more of a stun. Then they have a tazor that shoots electric tape which is used
for mid-range attacks and can be powerful, also depending on the tape would efect the power. then they have tazors with barb like hooks at the end of skinny metal wires, sorrounded by rubber. When fired the coils are like a bullet shot out of two small barrels by very powerful coils. When shot the trigger allows the elictricity to flow through the metal wires then into the barbs. When the barbs are shot they go through the skin and stay in, they must be forced out because ot is shaped like a three barb fish hook. For it to be taken out some one must force it out through the skin.

Depends what country you live in.

In the US and UK a cop can use a taser only to control a suspect, not to punish him.

I don't like tasers, didn't someone die last week from a taser?

People react differently to being tasered.

What if a woman is pregnant, will she still be tasered?

not legally but it can be used to gain control over a criminal
