I hear much trash talking about the Christians (mostly), Muslims...whatever religion.
Would you rather live in a society that would punish whoever raped your daughter, or live in a society where your daughter got punished for being raped?
The Christians seem to allow more freedoms for non-believers.
I work with people from all over the planet, and they all seem to like America (maybe not our policies) more than most countries.
Correct me if I'm wrong, please.
I'm agnostic.

Is it possible for the baby's heartbeat not to show up on an ultrasound, but still be fine? I had an ultrasound at 8.5 weeks was told baby was really healthy and saw a great heartbeat. Went back for the 12 week scan, saw full in tact larger baby, but they said there was no heartbeat, so the baby had died. Should i get another ultrasound? Is it possible that the baby was turned a weird way? Has anyone not seen a heartbeat one day but had an ultrasound a few days later and there was a heartbeat? I'm pretty confused as I was told that once you see a healthy heartbeat the chance of miscarriage drops drastically.

A couple months ago I cut out processed food from my diet..I felt so much better after my body detoxed and I lost weight. I love eating healthy..grains, fruit, veggies. I never eat junk food anymore.. and its to the point where last night I made myself a hot chocolate with unsweetened cocoa powder and I added two tbsp of wheat bran for the benefit of fiber bc the soymilk and cocoa had none..and I feel like I shouldnt eat something if it doesnt have nutritional value..ya know? And everynight I tell myself..ok Im gonna have a cookie tonight, treat myself. But then the night comes and I treat myself with veggies and wheat germ..Ive been so healthy for months now, I think im obsessed..is this bad?

I am 17 and my boyfriend is 18. We have been together for almost three years. We have ultimately decided that now is not the time for us to have sex, mostly we want to make sure that when we have sex, we are being as safe as we possibly can, meaning using both the pill and a condom. Since asking my mother to put me on the pill is simply not an option for me, we've decided to wait until I'm 18. We've also decided to wait until we've been in college for a while and we know that a long distance relationship is going to work out.

I guess I just want to hear other peoples opinions on the issue. Why did you decide to have sex? Did you rationally talk it out first, like my boyfring and I did? Or, why did you decide not to have sex? I'm not trying to judge or be critical to anyone. I'm just curious about others rational behing making such and important decision.

Air bubbles come up from the drain in my first floor toilet every time the toilet upstairs is flushed, or the shower is running, or the washing machine is draining. Also, the toilet doesn't always flush all the way. Usually every other time I flush it, the water rises to the top of the bowl and then slowly returns to the original level, but doesn't flush all the way. It sometimes works perfectly fine though. Oh, and I don't have a basement, my main water lines are on the same level as the problem toilet.

the future of biotechnology is not just with plants but fish splised tomato is highly likely. it would be just like a tomato but it has the good proteins of a fish in it. no physical change only chemical. but I'm more into the Human interact with and control technology with their mind part for biotech(if im thinking of the wrong thing plz correct me this will be my job in the future) i think that human controlling tech with their minds and having more advanced prosthetics we would be in a would of i show i watch.(Ghost in a Shell) which is a world in the future where most humans change from a fregal human body to a sturdy prosthetic body controlled by the only bio part needed for them (the brain) which hints the term Ghost in a Shell but there r plenty of good things about this field but there just this one thing that will happen in the future if we ever find out how to contain the brain in a shell and keep it alive and working with technology

If you answer yes, of course, that would be truly understandable- however He knew that He was coming for this sole purpose- think about the time in the garden when He was asking God to remove the cross from Him, and He was crying and hurting so much he sweat drops of blood- I think the hardest time for Him, when He was fighting in the garden and once He submitted Himself to God's will then He was ready to suffer the excruciating pain He endured for us,. Please do not say I am negating the cross and how hard that was for Jesus- because I am not- tell me what you think. Wanting serious answers from those who believe

I am 6 months pregnant and have been experiencing a lot of "braxton hicks." I was told as long as there is no bleeding/pain involved I'll be okay. Like my 1st son he was big at birth and with this 2nd baby I can tell that he also will be big too. (Big bones run in both sides of the family - mine/boyfriend) My stomach as dropped a lot since the ending of last month where it sits right on my thighs. LOL. People predict I'll give birth at the end of December. Is that too early? I am due on Feb. 1st of 2008.

It's not working ladies, time to get a new gig.

My father died and I asked how could there be "God" when there is nothing to stop the atrocities of painful disease. There is nothing to stop the atrocities in this world, whether in hospitals or on battlefields. Religiousness in the face of death is denial of the inevitability of our ruin.

And here's the big surprize(sarcasm):
-They couldnt answer with logic
-They wouldnt respond with love
-3 questions have been removed to shut me up
-They were rude and insulting.

Fact is, with my fathers death, and with the "men" on the far right throwing down their makeup brushes in anger because they dont want to see me prooving Atheism is true, all they can do is fillibuster with crying to the Abuse Department to shut me up.

Didnt we know all this "peace and love" crap is about donations, not 'god"?

Didnt we already know monotheism hates free speech?

GREAT LOVE FROM YOU HYPOCRITES IN MY TIME OF MOURNING.
care to proove me wrong?

I have to say after watching Sicko for the first time last night, I have never felt more ashamed to be an American. When United States citizens including some heros that helped with the 911 travesty need to go to Cuba for medical attention because they are denied treatment due to our government being greased by drug and insurance companies, it makes me sick. If you haven't seen it, its a must. Why are we so afraid of our government?
