Turco easily. Look at his numbers since he has entered the league and then when he was the starting goalie... he is an elite goalie, maybe in the top 3. Definitely in the top 5. Dallas has dominated the defensive stats for the past 3 seasons and he is a big part of that.

Goalies have bad streaks; especially when their defense fails them (and Dallas's blue line has not been inconsistent this year)... I'd go with Turco. Smith is a great back up but he is not Turco or in his league yet.

Sharks Baby is right about Turco's defenseman mentality but it has paid off more for the Stars then it has hurt them. He has a large number of assists for a goalie afterall. There is no goalie like him that has his ability with the puck. He's better than Brodeur even with his puckhandling (Brodeur's still the best overall goalie though.).

You have got to go with Marty Turco.

The guy has proven time and time again to be one of the main reasons the Stars are contending. The past couple of years have seen the Stars lack any type of offensive firepower and when they do manage a goal or 2, Turco becomes the main reason those goal or goals stick as game-winners.

heard a rumor they may try to trade turco, may be b.s. but keep your eyes out.

How about I hate them both???

Turco, hes still got it....hes such a disterbed goalie, though. Its like he wishes he could play defense, like he never got the chance so he takes it when he can. Hes going to get caught one of these days passing the puck to the wrong guy...like he did with the Sharks!!! TWICE!!!! But the sharks only scored on one of them, so hes all good

Turco. That .902 vs .885 save pct is a bigger gap than it appears.
