It's not working ladies, time to get a new gig.

My father died and I asked how could there be "God" when there is nothing to stop the atrocities of painful disease. There is nothing to stop the atrocities in this world, whether in hospitals or on battlefields. Religiousness in the face of death is denial of the inevitability of our ruin.

And here's the big surprize(sarcasm):
-They couldnt answer with logic
-They wouldnt respond with love
-3 questions have been removed to shut me up
-They were rude and insulting.

Fact is, with my fathers death, and with the "men" on the far right throwing down their makeup brushes in anger because they dont want to see me prooving Atheism is true, all they can do is fillibuster with crying to the Abuse Department to shut me up.

Didnt we know all this "peace and love" crap is about donations, not 'god"?

Didnt we already know monotheism hates free speech?

GREAT LOVE FROM YOU HYPOCRITES IN MY TIME OF MOURNING.
care to proove me wrong?

Facts opened your eyes and you saw the truth. However painful, you preferred it over reality. Most people prefer the illusion always

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I'm sure it is rough for you right now. My condolences to you and your family.

Anyhow, I understand the point you are making, but I feel that what one believes is a personal thing. One cannot prove the existence of a God anymore than a person can prove that there isn't a God. I think most people have had experiences in their lives that make them feel one way or the other. Its not for us to judge, but to leave it up to each individual to believe, or not believe, what they want. Personally, I have had things happen in my life that have given me faith that there is, but in no way do I ever expect anyone else to share my opinions, or feel the same way I do.

so time for a new conception of God. Instead of a "loving , caring" God who's making a list of everyone who's been naughty or nice in a "book of life" like some supernatural Santa Claus. Or a God who's watching us all like we're fish in some enormous aquarium, maybe we should start thinking of God as a great creator, like an artist - He built the universe and has left it behind to go create other wonderful things

This is called "deism" by the way -- Thomas Jefferson's religion

I'm sorry your dad passed away. It's gotta hurt, but I don't believe in death like most people.

Your dad has merely passed into another dimension, but is still around watching from time to time. My mom died of cancer and it was hard watching her fade away. But how we die isn't up to us. Nothing to be sad or scared about, it's just a natural process of life. Energy never dies. Stephen Hawking will tell you that.

I hope that helps.

When I go out in public and a stranger starts talking to me about god,

I just want to tell them I don’t believe, without them telling me I’m going to a hell that I don’t believe in.

I respect anyones choice to believe, I wish they would do the same.

I also have a quote:

Napoleon Bonaparte "Religion is excellent stuff for keeping common people quiet"

Again I am sorry for your loss and what I said did not help you or console your grief. I still hope you can get something positive out of it like, live life to the fullest and realize your priorities. I am a liberal by the way. I am truly sorry.

All religions are just rackets for salesmen to get something ((your money))and give you just a hope and a prayer.
It's like multi level marketing and Ponsi schemes most people loose their shirts trying for the gold that is not really there.

I didnt see this question but I am very sorry for your lose. Ive questioned my own faith in God at low points in my life similar to your own. Its a very hard thing to deal with when you feel spiritually void, been there, done that.

God loves you and understands your feelings toward him. No, Im not a Bible thumper but I understand your feelings in this case. I started by "trying" to pray again just to tell him how p*ssed I was at him" and went from there. I hope this helps you too.
