There's some good advice here! (Re: above posts) LOL
Just use humor to diffuse the situation, and NEVER let her know that she "gets to you" with her behavior. Don't give her the upper hand and the satisfaction of knowing her behavior bugs the heck out of you!
You could just say: "Don't you just hate it when some people act like ....
(then describe her behavior in a round about way)."
Sounds like someone needs to hold a mirror up, for her to see what an a** she can be.
Sooner or later, she's bound to get the message.
Good luck! Someday, I hope she's able to see herself for the total "b" that she can be. By then, she may have lost alot of good friends though.

Oh Girl, If I had a nickle for everyone who acted like that where I work, I'd be somewhere other than here. lol
You should not have to feel as though you need to walk on eggshells while around this person. Just try to keep one thing in mind: She acts like this most likely because she is miserable. People who switch personalities so quickly are usually not happy with themselves. The problem, in my opinion, is she is probably envious of you and some others who are more content with yourselves and lives. Keep that in mind when she turns into the b*tch from hell. lol Give her absolutely nothing to indicate she is getting to you. Even though she may be. This will cause her to see that she has no affect on you. You give her power when you allow her to see that she affects you in a negative manner. Don't YOU do that, girl!!! Good luck and just grind your teeth a little and let it goooooo. lol

I have one just like that and some of the people ask if I brought a muzzle for her. I'm the boss and it is hard to deal with this lady. Believe me I have a few men like that too. she will be do nice and just go witch.
I first set a limit if she goes witch All I say is I am done here she keeps going I say thank you so much as nice as I can and I wait for her to leave. Funny thing s it works and she is nice later too.
Bottom Line: Set a limit and be nice

Set her up to take a fall but in an area where you are clearly dominant. Lure her in being as sweet as can be and then when she takes the bait, turn psycho-bit_ _ on her to give her a taste of her own medicine.
She has been conditioning you with her Jeckle-Hyde behavior and now has your goat. The only thing you can do is to try to get your goat back and the only thing she will understand is fear (do you honestly think that reasoning with her would work at this stage?). So you have to be the bigger beeyatch but set it up so you are not just reacting in her world. Lure her into your world, your domain, in an area where you can be dominant, but start off being demure and kind so she doesn't suspect your trap. Play to her weaknesses and when she takes the bait, let her have it! This is the only thing she will respect -- a taste of her own medicine.
And if she complains or asks you why...THEN you will have her ear and you can explain why you did this, i.e. to show her what it feels like.
Establish your boundaries and guard them well. She has way over-stepped hers and diplomacy at this stage, just won't work.
Buck up and go get her!

Humor is the best remedy for just about anything. You can always do the catfight sound when she switches poles. You know she's bipolar. Get her a scratch pad or change the litter box.

3 options to consider:
1. "Wow, your PMS is really bad today isn't it?"
2. Hand her a Midol or a Tampon saying
" Here sweetie, you need this more than I do."
3. "Gosh, are you having a Prozac moment or what?"
Look on the bright side, maybe she's just manic depressive & her meds haven't begun to work yet.

I"d suspect she had a hormone imbalance, maybe start leaving pamphlets and informative books about her condition around, recommend a good endocrinologist to her.

Don't avoid her...say the truth. Prove your point to her. You have to stick up for yourself around people like that. Good Luck.

You simply need to be direct; tell her that it is distressing for you and she should stop and think before she speaks. Just cut to the chase as sometimes people like that really need to be told!!

I would minimize my interaction with her. I wouldn't share anything personal that she could use against me and I would spend much more of my time with healthy people.
