It is a pretty formal party that I am going to...I still haven't bought the dress - but I am looking at black velvet or silk - most of what I have looked at have capped or no sleeves... what type of wrap or jacket should I get - this is a Christmas party and it is cold :) there is only so much I am willing to do - all of the dresses are above the knee (brrr) so I need to know if I should get a black velvet wrap to go with the velvet dress? Or should I go OPPOSITE - velvet dress w/silk wrap, or silk dress w/velvet wrap... and - should those wraps also be black?? Or should I pick some other color?
This is my first formal party like this and I want the dress to be nice and have the option of using it later on - hence the LBD :)

A police officer pulls a guy over for speeding and has the following exchange:
Officer: May I see your driver's license?
Driver: I don't have one. I had it suspended when I got my 5th DUI.
Officer: May I see the owner's card for this vehicle?
Driver: It's not my car. I stole it.
Officer: The car is stolen?
Driver: That's right. But come to think of it, I think I saw the owner's card in the glove box when I was putting my gun in there.
Officer: There's a gun in the glove box?
Driver: Yes sir. That's where I put it after I shot and killed the woman who owns this car and stuffed her in the trunk.
Officer: There's a BODY in the TRUNK?!?!?
Driver: Yes, sir.
Hearing this, the officer immediately called his captain. The car was quickly surrounded by police, and the captain approached the driver to handle the tense situation:
Captain: Sir, can I see your license?
Driver: Sure. Here it is. (It was valid).
Captain: Who's car is this?
Driver: It's mine, officer. Here's the owner's card. (The driver owned the car).
Captain: Could you slowly open your glove box so I can see if there's a gun in it?
Driver: Yes, sir, but there's no gun in it. Sure enough, there was nothing in the glove box.
Captain: Would you mind opening your trunk? I was told you said there's a body in it.
Driver: No problem. (Trunk is opened; no body).
Captain: I don't understand it. The officer who stopped you said you told him you didn't have a license, stole the car, had a gun in the glove box, and that there was a dead body in the trunk.
Driver: Oh Yeah, I'll bet the liar told you I was speeding, too!!!!

I went through a really bad childhood when I was growing up . My father was abusive and my mother was manipulative . Eventually I came to cracking point . My depression is pretty much gone . But
yesterday i let this girl talk to me about what happened to me in my past and everything and ( cuz i told her about me ) and she just started "trying to help me"
It just pissed me off cuz i was expecting a friend not a helper to help me..

anyway My car is going into repossession soon , and i have to make enough money like 250 in a week .So i have been looking for a job frantically. I was on fire , applied for atleast 30 jobs in 2-3 days !!

. but yesterday after that conversation with her I just completely lost all my motivation and everything .even lost a job offer call becuase I was with this " helper girl " damnit , i lost all my control at night and felt all emotional so chcked up on my x-girlfriend online profile to add to the emotional instability i am already in ...what do i do ?

I am in a relationship with a married man. It just started. To make matters worse he’s my boss. He says he’s really not happy, never wanted to get married, and is not in love, but he wanted to do the right thing when she got pregnant, but now he wants out and it hasn't even been a year for them. I feel bad for liking this man. I feel bad for his wife. But when we are together, feeling bad is not what’s on our mind however, we never have had sex. We go out in public together, we kiss and hold hands in public and he just doesn’t seem to care about her. Should I end this to be the bigger person and for the sake of his marriage?

I'm 6'4 235pounds. I just bought a 2007 Yamaha 1100 Vstar Classic. Since I started riding more frequently, my lower back begins to hurt after about 30 minutes of riding. I feel comfortable on my bike, but my back kills me afterwards. Am I just too tall for this bike? The bike is barely starting getting broken in. Do I need to adjust the spring suspension? Please, any suggestions?
