Why doesn't our government make Mexico take care of their own??

If Mexico is giving their people maps and instructions of how to enter U.S. I know they are corrupt. They have a lot of gas. Why do they not WANT to take care of their own.

duck- does it look to you they want to take care of their own. it has been all over the news giving them GPS, flyers of how to get welfare etc. Have you been living under a rock?

KR- so figuring out some form of charitable alliance from us to help them keep their own people in their own country is butting into their businesss. Are they not severely Butting into ours?

KR- This has nothing to do with pushing our beliefs on to them. If we are so tight with Calderone and he can chastise us for wanting to build a fence why can't we chastise him for not taking care of his own people. Then they would not be flocking north. There are other ways of getting things accomplished besides going for the conquer. Besides we need Mexico to take care of their own before they totally ruin our infrastructure.

You know how people say the American government is corrupt, that they only cater to the rich and care little for the poor, and all they do is strengthen big business? Well, they aren't, but our neighbor to the south, Mexico, that is how they operate. They don't want their poor; they don't want to help them, they send them here where we DO help them. I would suggest you ask them why they don't care for their poor. The answer is because the wealthy have no incentive to care for them down there.

I think we should take a lesson from Mexico. Back in the 1800's when the Apache was giving them fits, the Mexican government offered a 50 dollar bounty on scalps, no questions asked. Maybe the USA should do that for illegals today.

Becca.. if you read YOUR own question it was .. why doesn't our government "MAKE" (which means force in my book)mexico.. you never said offer an idea or help.. and thats the same thing we did in IRAQ make a government conform to our beliefs and you see what that got us.. America has gotta stop playing the bully around the world and start taking care of the problems that are on our homeland .. Yes ILLEGAL's are a problem, but forcing our beliefs is our worst problem. After all this country was formed by immigration.. So we need to adjust our thinking NOT force our beliefs on some other country..

Mexico is oil-rich and morally bankrupt. They even cut off the basics, what we would call WIC - Women and infant children -oil, rice and beans food program.
