i really really really need to lose weight but i'm prone to bingeing- and therefore purging which isn't good. If i don't eat all day and have a small dinner is there a yummy food - like not fruit and veg- that i can eat loads of with hardly any calories.
At the moment i binge on foods like cereal bars which aren't that bad but the calories add up. I really need a food that has no fat and calories, my bingng is physcological i think so i just need a way to do it without gaining weight or feeling the need to purge/throw up.

It appears that much of the general public has made these erroneous assumptions:

grains = carbohydrates
meat = protein
dairy = calcium

even though no food provides just one nutrient, and no food has a monopoly on a nutrient.
Grains are our most important source of protein AND iron. Eliminating grains in a fad diet has just eliminated your #1 source of protein and iron.

Shouldn't there be a pyramid listing the nutrient and the foods that contain it? And this should be taught to every school kid.

What if your husband told you he thought you were average and you're not drop-dead gorgeous or hot but you're not ugly either. And if he didn't know you and saw you walking down the street, he probably wouldn't give you a second look? Then thought you were being silly for feeling hurt by this.

Would this hurt your feelings? If so, how would you handle it? Would you ever tell your mate this even if you thought it?

There's a place by me called Squan Tavern, they have really good food and it has that kind of anyone is welcome, sit down at the bar and watch the game theme: it has a nice, kinda down hom-ish atmosphere.

when we look back at the bad things that have happened because of christianity (like the salem witch trails, the iquisition, ect.) people say that those were the "bad" christians and that satan was the true culprit.
But i can't help but to notice that those things weren't necessary done by the "bad" people, becuase they acted in earnest. No one, including satan, was at fault for those things.
THe atrocities that occured were products of their own unmodern times. So this means that "bad" things occured for arbitrary reasons, right?

I just had a surgery on friday and they prescribed me with doxycycline...it is giving me really bad growling and the worst heartburn! I have been waking up at 3 am for the past two nights and not sleeping any longer and then i have to take another one at 9 am... by this time i am exhausted. I am having breathing problems, very rapid heartbeat and like i said really bad heartburn.I can't take anti-acids for a few hours after. I plan to go to the doctor tomorrow and see if theres a different antibiotic they can prescribe me. I didn't take any today and I just need reassurance that I am doing the right thing and that I choose the better solution, NOT to take the doxycycline for today. I'll be okay for the next 24 hours without antibiotics,right?

I appreciate any advice you can give m

So we just bought a flat screen t.v. I'm not into the giant t.v.s but we bought a 42 inch - which is big enough. We could put it on a stand or we could put it above our fireplace. I would love to have it on a wall (fireplace) instead of a stand, for space issues. My husband said you can't put it about the fireplace because people don't want to look up at the screen from a sitting position. What do you think? Where is the best place.

Ive started talking to this guy and hes 20 years old. Frome the very beginning ive been honest about my age and he didnt care.
