I wen't to the dentist this morning and they took my full mouth x-rays and they told me that I need a root canal in my bottom # 26 which I believe is the k-9 tooth but I can't be sure because it doesn't hurt. And they said that there is no cavity but and absess at the very bottom of the root.

My question I guess is has anyone ever had this happen to them? or should I get a second opinion?

My puppy is 6 months old today and we have had her for about 3 weeks. She has been scratching ever since and we thought she may have fleas. No fleas found and no dry skin. No rashes, no nothing. I have no idea why she is so itchy. She is a short haired mutt and I can tell she has no rashes anywhere because she has light thin fur. What do I do?

I remember that when the gas prices started to go up, people would get angry about it; wherever I went, stores, movie theathers etc. everyone was expressing their concerns; people organized protests, etc. And now when the prices are well above $3 a gallon it seems that nobody cares, at least I don't hear enough complains. What are your thoughts on it.

This is my first Thanksgiving married to my husband but I have been to his grandparents house on Thanksgiving before (past 2 years while dating) but this year I have been reading things about Turkeys being crammed tightly into henhouses and having their throats slit while conscious and all these horrible things well while I am not vegatarian or vegan I do not want to eat meat this holiday season to help not so many Turkeys suffer I know I am just one person but its really important to me we are eating at his grandparents house first then my parents late in the day I know my family will understand but how do I tell his family that I do not want to eat Turkey while I am there without seeming rude or selfish or stupid?
My husband usually makes my plate and I would just tell him no turkey and explain to him why and he would understand BUT his grandma likes to make sure everyone is eating EVERYTHING she cooks and her heart would be broken if I didnt have her precious turkey on my plate????

ok i live with this guy .all most 3 years he makes good money i am disabled. his son of 19 works he lives here to he dont pay no bills he dont even buy his own razers or toilet paper. his dad buys it all for him i give him $300 a mounth i only get $623.my kids live in ky about 2 hours away. his mom lives there to when i go see my kids i only get see them 1 hour. he spends about 5 hours at his moms i dont mind going to his moms but is it fair to me.i help pay bills my oldest girl starts school in jan its not free i give her money to help her he jumps my *** he says my girls are just useing me. should i leave.

In UFC 1 the world learned that if you don't know submissions and the person you're fighting is good at submissions, you're going to lose a fight. That's a fact, not an opinion. It's not saying that if two fighters both have some submission knowledge the one that's better at submissions will win. It's just saying that if a guy that's studied nothing but tkd for 5 years fights a guy that studied nothing but bjj for 5 years, the bjj guy will win 99.9% of the time, size being equal. That's no revelation, it's just common sense, but when you say it on this forum all these sensitive traditional martial artists get their feelings hurt and start attacking you (verbally). Why is that? I think people don't want to acknowledge that what they've been spending their time on is inferior to something else that they could have spent their time on. Perhaps tkd/kung fu/karate and the like just attract an insecure type of person. Thoughts?

My daughter (11 yrs old) was playing outside with friends at a neighbors house and she knows the children who own the dog but we do not know the parents, their dog got out of its gate and attacked my daughter, it bit her arm and she has multiple puncture wounds but none serious or deep and she got a dog scratch on her back, i took her to the emergency room, she is now on antibiotics, she also suffered a large scrape on her knee from falling when she ran away from the dog. the pit bill is 7 months old. i am wondering if i should call the police or animal control. her emergency room visit is fully covered by our insurance. but i don't want this to happen to another child.
