What can I do if I've lost the code to my original Sims game? I have the CD, but I've lost the packaging.

If you registered it online you can find it on your registration profile.

Your game installation code is saved with your registration information, so you can look it up by logging into The Sims 2 website.

If you didn't register, you can purchase a new code from EA for $10.

Search the name of the game and then put installation codes.
It should like like my example:
