Oh, boy, I hate to cause you to throw up inside your mouth, but you asked for it!!

My husband came all the way to California to give me a gift. He left work, flew out and brought me flowers. He then had to turn around, drive three hours to the nearest airport, fly back home and get back to work.

It was not our anniversary, nor my birthday, or valentines day, just an unexpected, sweet, romantic, and extremly loving surprise.

I had been in California to help my sister through brain surgery. She had to have the surgery and if I couldn't be with her she would have gone through it alone, because everyone else in our family couldn't afford to leave work for an extended period of time. I used all of my vacation time and went to aid her. I was sceduled to be gone for nearly four weeks. It was at week three my husband showed up with flowers. I was so surprised I nearly fell down!!

There are many, mnany more "sappy", "Syrupy", and romatic acts my husband has done out of his love for me. I am the luckiest woman in the world, with the most considerate, loving, generous, and yes, romantic husband. He brings me cofee in the mornings. Every couple of weeks he brings me a single red rose. He helps me in and out of the car, opens doors for me, and carries the packages when we shop. He walks on the outerside of the sidewalk, the side the cars are closest too, in order to protect me from those cars, any water spraying up, ect. My husband brings me cards expressing his love for no reason except that love, no special occassion.

He surprises me with unexpected trips to bed and breakfast establishments, is good to my children who are his step children, and is by far the most sweetest and carign man alive. He is compassiate and considerate and has very high integrity, ethics, and morals.

He expects nothing in return from me except my love, which is given as freely as his. I too do everything possible to express that love, and put his needs before my own every single day. We have never had a fight, and we have a happy, contented, and very exciting relationship without fights. We respect each other and show it daily.

My husband is a regular man. He is a man,not a boy in a man's body, as so many "Men" seem to be these days in the U.S.of A. He is also not a female in a mans body. Just a regular guy who is sweet and considerate. He is responsible, rational, and decent. He is a hard worker, and an excellent provider. I am his help mate, partner, friend and lover, as he is mine.

I am sorry if this is not as syrupy as you want, but I'm recovering from a serious burns injury to my arm and he has looked after me and waited hand and foot on me the whole time I have been getting better, I feel very cherished.

My husband made a path to the bedroom using lilacs, my favorite flower, so that when i came home from work, on our first anniversary, I could follow the trail. He had candles and soft music playing. When I got in the bedroom he came up behind me and slowly took my clothes off from behind! He even removed my thong with his teeth!!! I got a full body massage, with hot oil, and he even sucked on my big toes, which tickles badly! After we were done in the bedroom, he took me into the kitchen, naked, and feed me baked spagetti that he had made. He never cooks, and hasn't since, but after 7 years all that sweet stuff goes away. I love him and when I think about our 1st anniversary, it makes me smile!

My old man lit up the whole room in candles, and put music on- he is not the romantic type so it was a huge gesture on his part. It was awhile ago- but it is something I never forget. You know what made it most important- it wasn't for any reason- things were kind of rocky then and it was just what I needed.

Your quite a funny person apparently. The answers so far are just as funny. I imagine getting sick over my husband putting his teeth in my underwear. That's just me. I may be a very clean person, but that thought is still nasty. I would give the points to that girl, if you want to throw up in your mouth.

To answer your question: When my grandmother and her second husband divorced, she decided to move with my mother (for a time) to California. She took with her this wooden walking chair she used to rock us kids in when we were very young. Amung other things my grandmother had, I learned to love that rocking chair very much.

Well, when my grandmother and mother decided to move back here, they left this rocking chair behind. I felt so bad, this rocking chair ment a lot to me (and my grandmother). She had even told me, when she planned on coming back here from California, she was going to let me have it.

Well like I said, they left the rocking chair behind. One day, I was in the house while my husband (fiance at the time) was over playing with our son outside. I heard a loud truck go by and then my fiance come to the door telling me there was a package for me. So I went out, there was a HUGE box with my name on the slip.

I started to open it when my finance stopped me. He told me that he had contacted the park where my grandmother and mother had left in California. The owner told him that the people who live in the home after my grandmother took the rocking chair with them. He said he specifically remembered them doing so. The owner gave my finace these peoples name and number. He then was able to get a hold of them. They told him they had given the rocking chair to their daughter. Who was now living in Kansas. He THEN contacted the daughter and the daughter agreed to send the rocking chair to me.

You might say, its just a rocking chair. It ment a lot to me. As a result, my husband and I were very mushy and lovey-dovey after hearing that story. :P

Have a great day!

He lights candles throughout the house, above our bed, turns on low voltage lights, makes me dinner, turns on low music, fixes me coffee every morning, Loves me unconditionally, treats me with lots of love and respect.
