I live in Florida, and my roses are doing quite nicely. I still have many blooms. However, the summer heat is very hard on the plants. Some of the plants still have significant leaf damage due to the heat and chemicals I use to hold back the fungus and bugs. Should I leave the damaged leafs or remove them?

My daughter became very sick last thanksgiving with unexplained nausea. She didn't start starving herself until about 3 months of horrible nausea every time she ate. We have been to almost every doctor we can think of to look for the source of the nausea and still have found nothing. Now, it is an eating disorder with nausea as a sideline. (still can't pinpoint the nausea) Anyway, I found her on my space making secret accounts to connect with others with anorexia.

We have talked about this in depth and she knows that I don't want her going to anorexic sites or seeking out the lifestyle. The computer is in the living room and password protected. However, today I left and forgot to make sure the password screen came up before I left. I was gone for 10 min. and when I returned she was on the computer. Checked the history and she had gone to you tube to watch "sophie" an anorexic video. What can I do to help her? I am SO LOST! I don't even know where to begin.

I'm a Christian, however, I think I don't have a strong belief in God. Yesterday, I told my religious teacher about it, and he asked me a question : "Define Christianity ? If you can answer that question, you should understand more about yourself."
Can you be in details ? Because I don't want just a superficial answer, what I'm looking for is a serious and straight-forward answer.

I actually have an answer, but I want to ask you guys for your opinions. If you were me, how would you answer it ?

ok so this is what happend:
me and my friends were being stupid and we knocked my MOMS camers off the T.V. and and now the lens wont close and we can't take pictures it is tottally broken and if my mom finds out she WILL hang me and im very poor and can't afford a new camera...and really would not like to have to replace the lens thingie! is there anything i can do at home! :( its a powershot A620

The load is pocket tissue packs, i'm not sure of the exact weight yet!

I'm not aware of the name of the Chinese port yet either, but it'll be in the Hong Kong region.

I will need it transported to either London or Hertfordshire (30 miles north of London) - if anyone is aware of the most likely UK port it'll go to and the cost of transporting from the port to these locations then that'd be much appreciated!

p.s. I've already checked to see what import duty tax is, and its 0%.

I have an old Crate PA-600 powered mixing board with two speaker outputs (Im assuming one is left and one is right, however they are only marked as "speaker jacks"). It says that it outputs 190 watts at 2 ohms, and 125 watts at 4 ohms. I want to take advantage of 190 watts at two ohms, however I have two 4 ohm single voice coil speakers that I will be hooking up to this unit.

What I'm asking is if the following scenario is possible. I want to combine both channels into one channel, then wire my two speakers in parallel to this bridged channel. This in theory would give me 190 watts of power over two speakers with a 2 ohm total load.

I currently have it setup so there is one speaker per channel, 4 ohm per channel, but only 65 watts per channel. I want more power because the unit starts to clip when I turn it up to the volume level I want it at.

First let me tell the story.
My dad was fired at work because they didn't need him anymore, before that we weren't 'rich' but we weren't 'poor'
I would consider us poor now, because we have a house, food, water, ect. but we don't have as much money as we did before. Okay well now my mom is the only one working and that's doing good. But I need some ideas for things I can make or my cousins, brothers, aunts and uncles, and grandparents, because homemade stuff is better and a little cheaper. So do you have any ideas on how I can help them save money, and ideas on what I can make for my family.

My daughter has a ton of stuff (three sets of Grandparents that spoil her rotten, three aunts, one uncle, neices, and nephews) and I'm at a loss on what to get as far as little stuff to put into her stocking as I'm boycotting MOST toys this year. If it's made in China, I'm not buying it! As far as other gifts, we're getting her snacks, juice boxes, and mainly clothes. I'm still seeking GOOD education toys not made in China.

My daughter has more crayons, coloring books, books, stickers, jewelry, hair things, children's videos, toddler music CD's, than I know what to do with. She also has a small flashlight, and nightlight. So far I was thinking maybe some fun socks (hard to find for a two year old), Band-Aids with her favorite characters on them, training paste, and a new toothbrush. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

A year ago, I found a Joy Division wall poster, which literally took up an entire wall; it was B&W and it matched my living room color scheme ... I find that I can't decorate a place without at least having some rock paraphernalia to "edge" the place up a bit

Recently my husband opened a checking account that he kept hidden from me. I found out when I noticed a regularly occurring deposit had not been deposited into our joint account and researched where the money had gone. He says it's because he wants to save money and that he wasn't really trying to hide it because he knew I would get the pay statement. However, he's made sure this is not a joint account and I have no access to this account. I don't believe it's about saving money, because that's not a real issue in our marriage. I'm afraid it's about him wanting to spend money and not wanting me to find out what he's spending the money on. How should I handle this???
