Gucci. Hands down. I've seen people wear the valour (or however you spell that) suits from head to toe, just Gucci-print, Gucci-print, Gucci-print, with shoes and hats and accessories to match. I just got sick of it. But that Brown and Tan Louis Vuitton monogram isn't too far behind, either. It's just so ubiquitous...

I like both. I prefer Louis Vuitton bags, in my experience they last longer and wear better than Gucci. I certainly wouldn't describe either as tacky. Both fashion houses make bags that are not monogrammed.

I don't like either because I don't like things that have their logo all over. Gucci and Louis Vuitton are already famous. I just don't think that they need to scream their logos all over. I prefer Gucci's logo however because Louis Vuitton's logo is repeated over and over again and I think it pulls away from the attention a person would normally pay to the purse or shoes or whatever because they are getting distracted by the LV's getting screamed all over.

Better: Louis Vuitton monogram
Both: I do not like Gucci...the LV monograms are more popular and in my opinion they look coloer and are more recegnizable!

I think Louis Vuitton is tackier. Gucci is defintely better...more sophisticated.

Vuitton by about 2 or 3 points. Ugly monograms on s**t brown bags, and yet they sell by the million. Why?

I'm sick to death of the Louis Vuitton monogram. So I'd have to choose Gucci, which to me is slightly less tacky.
