Me and my boyfriend and I had been together for 8 months and ended breaking up on bad terms, but as time goes by we both realized how much in love we are and got back together, secretly of course because my parents would never understand. Well he got put in jail (for something stupid, nothing like killing nobody or anything, he really is a great guy, he just made a stupid decision) and I've been secretly going up there and have been bringing his child up there with me (who I love with all my heart) to see him. He'll be getting out soon and he wants us to live together and i think he's gonna ask me to marry him, which is great!! only one problem, I'm living with my parents, im 20 by the way, and they are the most controlling people, like crazy controlling, and I dont know how to break it to them that I'm moving out to live with him, I feel like if i do they are gonna like hold me down so i cant go. I'm seriously in love with this man, how do i break it to my parents?

i've always been this way. when i was little and took baths, after i got out my hands would itch extremely. i would take a brush and rub my hands. and now i've been polishing petoskey stones in which your hands have to be wet, and my hands are itching like crazy!!! why would water make your hands itch? its like their hot and really itchy.

I have only found it on the toilet paper and no where else. I'm 6'3, 41 years old, and I weigh 358lbs. I'm starting to get a little bit worried because I thought I might have had hemroids but I just found out that is supposed to stop after a period of time. Is this anything to worry about or should I go to a doctor immediately? Thanks for your time and possible answers.

Not too long ago, my car gave me problems, it wouldn't accelerate upon pressing the gas pedal. I took it to the mechanic, and he told me there was sludge in my engine, and if I had continued to drive my car like this, I would have ruined the engine. He told me that places such as Speedy Oil change use low grade, or recycled oil to place in your car when you get an oil change. I had just had my oil changed less than a month ago at Speedy Oil Change. I plan on never going to one of those places again. I have a 2000 Volkswagon Jetta. Has this happened to anyone else out there?

I'm Hapa (Japanese and Black) so my hair is a combination of curly/straight/soft/wavy.

Growing up and even now Black friends and relatives always are like, "You've got a good grade of hair". What does that mean?

Are they saying my hair is better because it's more curly than kinky and I don't need a relaxer to straighten it?

If so, that seems like self-hatred to me.

I'm 14 and I'm pretty sure I'm anemic.
I'm always tired, fatigued and irritable. My skin is VERY pale. I'm weak when standing up and I get lightheaded and have "dizzy spells" very easily and often.
My parents haven't yet taken me to a doctor. And I don't think they plan to quite yet.
But they told me to start taking multivitamins. They just barely help at all. Is there anything else I can do to make the symptoms I have a little less... bothersome?

I have been practicing for my high school rifle team tryouts. I am excellent in the kneeling and prone (lying down) position, but when I am standing up, I cannot stop my left arm (I am right handed) from shaking! Anything that can help? Diet? Weights? Help! Help! Help! Thanks.

I've been quite intrigued by white men's yellow fever and have sought relentlessly to understand it.


Coming from the source white men seem to think:
- Asian women are usually petite and in shape
- They have small vag1n45
- They do not disrespect them (demand stuff, etc)
- They treat them very well
- Intelligent

While I understand all that rhetoric.........cus I mean come on men are men.....


Which of you white men are bold enough to claim that they would take an Asian woman over a white woman?

As a neutral black woman with a keen interest in this topic (and no interest in any of the above mentioned parties) I welcome your replies!

I've been having problems with my Dell Dimension 2400 and currently, it won't boot. The Dell screen loads up, does not beep like it used to, and then goes to a blank screen with a flashing underscore. After about 2 minutes and 25 seconds, the screen says:

"We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this...."

Then it gives me several options to start windows (safe mode, normally, etc.). The last line says this:

Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice.
Seconds until WIndows starts: 30

It will count down to 29 and then freeze. Sometimes, it'll just freeze at 30.

Booting from CD does not work.

On one occasion, I got a "keyboard failure" message.

The contents of the hard drive can be read by my 2nd computer so I don't think that's the problem.

Is there anything else that could be the problem? I want to be sure before I spend the money on a new mobo.

I have a major crush on someone I dance with. We chat and dance together. this evening this person gave me her number and said if I wanted to go to another club and wanted a friendly face to see to call her.

Now I really like this person- trouble is a dance club is difficult to pick up signals as everyone is friendly and really nice to each other.

Am I reading to much into the fact that she has given me her number? I am worried that if I call her to ask her out that I could muck up things and miss out on dancing in the future because she could feel akward?

Any thoughts?!

It drives me nuts for boys to stare at them. Sometimes it's like my gf's dad, or my teachers, or even my priest. I swear to you... I do not wear clothes to show skin or be overly tight. But, I feel VERY self-conscious around most boys now.
