i have a dell inspiron 1501 windows vista 32 bit and the screen on it is lcd.the problem is that there is a green line that is in the left part of the screen i tryed every thing i restarted it and restored it to the image and its still ther plz plz plz help

from what you are saying its sound like the screen is defective . did you just get it if it is brand new i would call dell for a waranty claim . If not and you have had it then I would go and price a new monitor because that seems like something that bruned on to the screen . I hope this helps you

Hi. Sounds like a loose hinge cable. You can try to reseat it but a pro should probably try this for you.
