in high school, I had to take Spanish. And then again in college, which I can understand more than high school, but this is America. And unless we are going to be communicating with people in South America or in Mexico, I don't see the point. It should be optional. And my option is that I would rather learn Italian.

I over paid a medical bill to a California hospital that is operated as a non profit organization. They have financial problems, and seem unwilling to refund my money. It is getting to the point that I am going to have to file a small claims court action against them to recover the money due me. To properly file in small claims court I must give their correct legal name. I have tried the California Secretary of State's Business Registry, but can't find listings for non profits. How can I find their legal name.

I have been a self- harmer since i was 13 (now 16) and i sometimes get weird urges to do something scarey to myself.

When i was 13, i got the urge to break my wrist. And i did.
When i was 14, i got the urge to take all my fingernails off, and i did.
Last year i got the urge to cut one of my fingers off. It didn't work but i have a scar from trying.

Last night i got an urge to make a cut on the whte part of my eye....

Would i be blind in one eye if i did this?

I just went to make one copy of something from the copier, okay? Out comes 300 copies, I asked the person who just made the copies why she did not reset the machine? She said it is up to the person who is making new copies to reset it. I said, she is full of it and we should reset the machine once we are through with it. Who is right and who is wrong????

...people can have multiple personalities, lose their memory, etc? These things make SENSE if you assume that the brain is all there is, but if we're really the soul then these things shouldn't be able to happen. How can one soul have multiple personalities? How can a soul lose its memory? (I'm not saying that religious folks think the brain just sits there, but they do believe that the survival of the brain is not necessary for the person's personality to live on after death...)

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote 'The Hokey Pokey' died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

Right now I can buy a palce but...everyone is giving me diff advice. Seems as though most say RENT right now because prices will continue to go down thru 2008.
