By your standards, the horrors of the Holocaust are like a stroll in the park compared to an eternity of suffering in Hell.

Why not try and convert more people to Jesus Christ (or other prophet)? I don't see much evidence of it here. Many good people (Atheists) are going to hell and you just sit there observing the atrocity. If there was some small thing I could do to prevent just one person from suffering in the Holocaust, then I would have tried my upmost - really strived to help that one person out however unlikely the odds. Atheists may be stubborn, but do you not feel you must try?

If you are a Theist that believes many people here are going to hell, but do not actively try and stop people going -

Why is this?

Why just observe this terrible humanitarian crisis?

keep things running at the guest house. They have now asked me to work both my off weekends and I feel that I cannot say no. Last night my bf said that he's very disappointed because we had plans made a long time ago for these 2 weekends. How do I not let my personal life go down the drain, while trying to support my employers? I feel like a wanna cry, cause either party has a big dissapointment if I don't do as they ask.

I am writing a paper, and need to conduct a public poll.

Basically, all the computers and other electronic equipment that ends up in our landfills are causing serious harm to our environment. Some states offer rebates on your taxes for recycling, some companies offer the recycling for no cost to the consumer, some charge a fee to recycle the equipment.

How many of you are aware of such programs in your state ( or if you live in another country, programs where you live) that accept used electronic equipment for recycling? If you answer yes, have you ever used these services? If you answer no, are you aware of the effects on the environment from disposing of electronic equipment in landfills or in burned in incinerators?

this just came up b/c of a discussion with a g/f about her marriage. Her and her hubsand were fighting over porn and she was like well don't you get mad when your husband looks.
I was like honestly no. I don't mind him looking at porn, b/c to me that is different than him going to strip bar or looking at real women (i know these are real as well but its not like he is going to hook up with Belladonna or who ever) and plus it saves me from having sex when I really don't want to.
She seemed shocked. I did mention that their is a certain point that (some of you all might remember my questions last week) to me shouldn't be crossed though, getting pics from women that we know (real women) sexual chatting ect. But watching a porn or looking at some nude shots on line, doesn't bother me.

Does that make me weird?

I did tell her though that I thought if she really didn't like it then out of respect her husband shouldn't look. That caused a whole other conversation with my husband lol.

If the answer is Yes, don`t you find these characteristics to be contradictory?

Just - Receive an equal reward or punishment for an action. I.E. You don`t send guy to prison for life for stealing a pack of cigaretts.

Mercy - Rendering less a punishment for an action. The offense outweighs the punishment. I.E. Judge gives a defendant a slap on the wrist with the warning that if you do it again the punishment will be more strict.

How can God be all-merciful and all-just. This does not make any sense.

well i dont even know this person but i think i like them im in the
