By your standards, the horrors of the Holocaust are like a stroll in the park compared to an eternity of suffering in Hell.

Why not try and convert more people to Jesus Christ (or other prophet)? I don't see much evidence of it here. Many good people (Atheists) are going to hell and you just sit there observing the atrocity. If there was some small thing I could do to prevent just one person from suffering in the Holocaust, then I would have tried my upmost - really strived to help that one person out however unlikely the odds. Atheists may be stubborn, but do you not feel you must try?

If you are a Theist that believes many people here are going to hell, but do not actively try and stop people going -

Why is this?

Why just observe this terrible humanitarian crisis?

The first two answers are null becasue they did not respond to my question.

I'm not trying to convince you that Hell does not exist, I'm asking why you choose not to steer people away from it.

Hell is a Christian belief, I am a Pagan and don't believe in Hell, and my faith is not the only one. So, if that is the case, what makes it a reality? What proof is there that it exists for people, like myself? Because the bible says it's so? The bible is Christian! Jews share the old testiment, as do, I believe, do muslims...They don't believe in hell? Well, I know Jews don't. Muslims, I am assuming they don't.

So, again...how can we go to something we don't believe exists. Why would we worry about such a thing?

If christians wish to believe in it, that's fine, but please don't even attempt to scare or frighten others, who are not christian, in to believing there is something wrong with them and they will burn at the hands of the devil! Who I will add was depicted by Christians, through the imagery of one of our gods in order to frighten and put fear in people. To try and prove to people that the old religion was evil. The horns of the devil!

They used the Pagan horned greek god Pan and the celtic god Cernunnos. And beileve me, although many want, there's nothing evil about them.

So please respect others beilefs and let them be. I don't try and conver, sorry, save Christians into Paganism as I respect their belifes, even if I disagree with much of it. Kive and let live.

This has nothing to do with humanitarianism, in any way. It is HUMAN. We, each of us, have the luxury of free will. Freedome of choice, as it pertains to our "eternity".
I would not presume to force anyone to think my way, but offer my thoughts and conclusions, and let others make their own decision, based upon the information they obtain from their own life.
I like a good debate where thoughts and ideas are exchanged; I hate being forced "for my own good" one way or another. And I think most, if not all, people feel much the same.

It still boils down to the individual. You can never change a person. You can only inspire him/her to change. That is why people prefer living an example and sharing their belief in Christ only when asked for any method otherwise is a dangerous path towards fundamentalist thinking.

I feel the same as you do sometimes about wanting to change other people but I've always been given this advice.

"Start with yourself."

Are you trying to deplete Hell of people... Is that it?... The vast majority of the human race including your unsaved relatives and old acquaintances will all be burning in a sulfuric fire in Hell for ever and ever for the eternal pleasure of our loving God the Lamb, the 144,000 virgin Jewish boys, Abraham, Lazarus and a whole bunch of Christians will be teasing them from Heaven. Maybe they will be showing a wet big finger for the the people in Hell to lick. I heard that water is scarce in Hell.

Luke 16:23-25 (NIV) And being in torments in Hell, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.

Revelation 14:10-11 "he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb* (*God the Son Jesus Christ and a few selected Christians/John 17:24). And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."

I try to give Gods truth in my answers. I also try to stand against Satan's false cults by shining light on them

I want no person to go to hell. I preach at work, on the street, in other countries . Not for me but for Jesus and the souls on the way to hell.

I see hell as a just punishment because everyone that goes there goes knowing why. The rich man in hell (Luke 16) didn't plead his case he knew he was there justly. He pleaded for his family left behind.

There are 162 references to HELL in the New Testament alone, over 70 of those spoken by Jesus Himself.

" He that believes (the gospel) and is baptized SHALL BE SAVED; he that believes not SHALL BE DAMNED ". - Jesus

"So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth". - Jesus (Matt. 13:49)

Jesus called it a literal place of REAL torment.

I guess there are places in Hell only reserved for fundamentalist Christians who are poisoning other in this life with their beliefs. In hell they can exchange the same Bible verses for a whole eternity.

In the same vein as the question. It is so easy to spread the gospel of Christ. Live like Christ and emulate him. I have rarely seen that though. Hypocrisy?
