With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote 'The Hokey Pokey' died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

Its Been On The News For Awhile, And The Internet, And The Magazines. How Could You Not Notice? Well Probbly All Of America Is Forgetful Too, Cause A Few Other Ppl Died Too....What Was There Names?

LOL I heard that about a year ago via email....then I researched it and discovered he died in 1996...timeless classic!

And just two weeks ago, the guy who invented the speaker at McDonald's drive thru passed away....lots of nice things were said at his eulogy, but were not understood clearly....

I have seen this before....and according to wikipedia, he died in 1996.
