he has a gf who dumped him for "blackmailing" her, which is completely out of character for him, and then they got back together a week later. over the time they were broken up, he was looking at me and flirting with me a lot. i returned interest, but he still got back with his gf. i like him, but he seems to like her more even though he showed strong signs of liking me.

that sounds like my love life since freshman year. how can i keep a guys attention longer to ask me out instead of another girl? this guy i sit next to in ap physics flirts with me too, so how could i keep his attention before it goes to some other girl? or how could i get the first guys attention back?

Does anyone know these things about Piezoelectricity?

1) If you want to see the effects of Piezoelectric crystals, should you place them them in a circuit (between two piece of wire, connected to an ammeter. Then, place a lot of force on the Piezoelectric crystal, and see what the ammeter reports? Or will that not work? Thanks.

2) A Piezoelectric crystal generates electricity when something strikes it, right? But the electricity needs to be conducted through the crystal, right? So is there the faintest possibility that changing the temperature will change the amount of current (like in conductor's resistances)?

Why do I have such horrid short term memory? I mean with long term, I'm fine. But my short term just isn't worth crap imo. For example, I could place something on a table and think I'll come back for it in a second, then I completely forget about it----which causes me to lose a lot of valuable things...:(

What can I do to get better short term memory? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Guess I scared off that four legged freak..
"hey horse get your butt over here"..I shouted
sure enough..!.here he comes..slowly but surely..
"Anyway"..I thought to myself..so I decided to build a camp fire.
"ah two flints".. they were lying on the ground..(convienient).
I built a few twigs along with a couple of birds nests.
then struck the flints..
"MY bloody jeans caught fire.."..must have been all those years of sweat without a bath..
I ripped off the bottom of my jeans and started a little fire..
This was the first time I saw my ankles in ten years.
My horse lay beside me his head on my lap.. his hind legs sticking through the side of the tent.
As the night passed the moon fell through the horizon..
I started to doze off..When..!.I heard this scatching sound on the back of the tent...."GOD..not that bloody spider.."
I turned around slowly and sure enough..as the lightning struck..I saw the outline of eight legs...
Either it was four cowboy's or one spider..I thought...

Hello,

I am told by my technician that a 8600m gt video card gets really warm. This would cause the hard drive to fry or act funny. Therefore, I am deciding to buy a cooling pad.

Here are my issues:
1-My fan is located on the upper left side of the laptop.
a-Do I need a fan that blows air up into the fan?(that draws fan from under and releases from the left side)

2- What cooling pads are better?
a- Aluminum?
b-Usb based?
c-AC power based?

BESIDES WARM MILK... ew. lol most things don't work for me, and i have to wake up at 7am tomorrow, and for the next 3 months, which is very difficult for me (i was late to school almost everyday for like.. 6 years) because it's really hard for me to fall asleep, and once i do, i sleep until anywhere from 10am to 2 pm. i try to go to sleep when i'm tiered or about to pass out but then i just lay there for EVER. I'll get up and do something until I get tiered again, but that either doesn't happen, or i'll go back to bed and won't fall asleep again. so ANYWAYYYY i need something now, not some plant i need to go hiking to find or something like that. are there any real HOME remedies? ... besides the milk.. i just can't do that >.<
