We bought our house 20 years ago. At that time the ceilings were spackled and painted with oil paint. Now the ceilings of almost every room are showing cracks. Why is this, and how can it be repaired.

Mr. Bush didn't run away, did he? He served his country. Aren't the Coast Guard supposed to protect National borders, and Home Security? He did that. It is Clinton who ran away to Russia, and even protested against the Vietnam war that a Liberal, like himself, Lyndon B. Johnson started.
So, is this not more proof that Liberals won't accept the truth, just because they don't like a Conservative/Republican?
Do Liberal think our borders, and surrounding seas don't need to be protected, but left open for the enemy to attack us?

To make a long story short, there is this guy in my apt. complex that I have seen around for over 3 years. He's always trying to get my attintion and talk to me. I would just smile and go about my way. One day while I had my nephew with me (who's 2) he called me over to help him with something. I went to his patio but refused to go into his house (even though he kept trying to get me to go in) he asked me to help him untangle a chain that was wrapped around a ring. As I was looking at the ring he was sitting on the edge of his patio and asked could I keep a secret. I said yes. He then pulled out a "crack" pipe and in front of me and my nephew lit it up! As I grabbed my nephew to run away, he started to tell me what he wanted to do to me and used his "mouth" as a visual aid! I went straight to the landlord and reported it. She assured me that it would be taken care of. This was a month ago and the man is still here! She lied to me! She told me that "He doesn't have anywhere to go"

Hello , I am a teacher at a school , I teach at a highschool. I had a student the other day, that needed to "talk" to me about something important. She confronted me , and said that she feels shes bulimic. She said it all happened last year under alot of stress. And only one other person knows about this, her bestfriend, who came with her to talk to me. I promised her I wouldn't tell anybody unless she said I could. Shes scared of her mom finding out because her Mom has already threatned her if she ever had something like this she'd be put in a mental hospital. I dont know what to do. Any advice ? I'm going to college in the fall of 2008 for Architecture, and its required that I need a laptop. That not a problem. I know that college loans pay for laptops if you need one. But the thing I was wondering is. I have a computer now, and when I get my student loans I'm going to go by a mac book pro. The thing is I go on vacation to the Caribbean in January of 2008, and I want to take a laptop with me. Can I get a apple visa card and then when I get my student loans, pay it off? Can it work like that?
