Hahaha! I have never been to a restaurant like that, but I remember gas station bathrooms being like that when I was a kid. They would attach the key to a friggin' hubcap or something!

I think maybe or at least I hope they give it to you like that because they are afraid it is going to get lost. What I don't understand is why the stupid restroom is locked to begin with. Are they afraid someone is going to steal toilet paper?

I had breakfast at a restaurant like that this morning.The key's sitting on my coffee table.I figured if they thought I was gonna steal,I would.
I'll take it back in the morning,and loudly return it.

No kidding, your right...like I'm going to steal all the liquid soap and toilet paper they have in the building. The thing that's really funny is they keep it hidden away , so when you do need to go, you have that two minute delay.

Long time since I've experienced that one. I didn't like it then I know I wouldn't put up with it again.(I would have 2 eat at another restaurant.)

That never happened to me at a restaurant, but it happened to me multiple times at the library.Yes, I find it very annoying.

I would steal it, so it's a damn good thing they put that there. I collect bathroom keys, just in case.
