I took my 4 1/2 month old kitten to the vet recently because he was coughing really bad and wheezing all of the time. She just looked at him and said that he has worms and she gave me some medications to give him. I gave him the meds and he still has the same problem. Why would worms cause him to cough? That makes no sense to me at all. Do you think he has an upper respiratory infection? I hope i didn't waste money on those meds for nothing.

I had fin aid from my school but I haven't been awarded any for this year. I pay out of state tuition and I don't want to leave the total burden of that on my parents. Plus, my rent went up for the year and my job just doesn't cover it.

i am going to try to make a long story short...my mother passed away a year ago, I have 2 half brothers (we all have different fathers, no comments on that please) well, my mother was married to my stepfather for the last 18yrs and he is the father of my youngest brother. He supported us and put me through college and basically acted like a father, we are lucky to have him. Although he was very tough and dominate, he tried to force us into careers he thought we should go in, if we didn't do exactly what he wanted he would say things and act in a manner that made you feel like there was something wrong with you, even the music we listened to was criticzed so much that he would say i don't know how someone who listens to rap can go to church, as if to say if u listen to rap music u cannot possibly believe in god and be a good person, this is his mentality about everything. Anyways, that is why i moved a few hundred miles away and he and my mom forced my middle brother into the ...

As a white man, I am sick and tired of getting blamed for EVERYTHING that's wrong with the black community. Everytime I see Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson on tv, I say to myself " Oh, boy what did I do now?"

Several years ago, I had a black acquaintance whose daughter attended a school with mostly black students. I remember talking to the daughter about her classes one day, and I found some of what she told me disturbing. Well, for starters, the daughter told me that their classes changed from semester to semester rather than from year to year. What was disturbing, though, was what she told me about her geography studies. Apparently, they had been studying each and every country in Africa since school had started in August. If I remember correctly, this conversation took place in September or October. I wonder when they were planning to cover Asia, Africa, the Americas, Australia, and Antarctica! Not only that, but I also glanced through her math textbook. Not only did it deal with math, but it also had boxes that had fun facts about black culture! I'm sure they were interesting, but what did they have to do with math? Don't get me wrong. I think it's important to learn about the world

I see that the USC Trojans are the No. 1-ranked college football team in the preseason polls. Who would argue with them? You sort of have to give USC whatever they want for fear of retribution. Since the Raiders cleared out of Los Angeles faster than Mark Fuhrman left the Million Man march, the Trojans have been the resident pro football team.

Have you seen the movie Boyz N the Hood? Training Day? Menace To Society? All of these "uplifting" stories about inner city life were filmed a few hundred yards from the USC library. USC is located in South Central Los Angeles. Yikes! No wonder so many scholarships go to football players. They're the only ones who can properly defend themselves if they leave campus. All the neighborhoods near campus are divided between the Crips, Bloods and Trojans.

When I lived in my first apartment everyone complimented it. I swept, I mopped, I decorated it, I did everything. I've been living in my 2nd apartment for almost 4 years now. In the beginning I dust, mopped, changed the covers, washed the dishes, bought things for the house, but now I'm living in a situation that I never dreamt of. Now I would let the dishes sit in the sink for almost 2 weeks, I haven't changed the covers on my bed for 2 years. When my cat spit hairballs up on the carpet, I don't clean it up for a month. I don't have company cause I'm too embarrass. I have stuff all over the floor. There things thats been going on in my life like 4 years ago I lost my father and 5 years ago my mom was diagnosed with alzheimer. I've been taking medication for depression and anxiety for 14 years. I'm overweight and I have joint stiffness. I don't have kids. I'm not in a relationship. I don't understand it. What's wrong with me? Why all of a sudden the changes?
