Is there a purpose to the repetition?
Do you like being fodder for a drinking game?

A) Who's generalizing? if the shoe fits, wear it; if not, move along
B) the turnover ... by that reasoning no one would have been able to devise a drinking game, since no one would seen the same questions over and over
C) one person on this thread has demostrated the use of the Search utility (thank you) ... the people asking the questions are less of a "newbie" than anyone just now creating an account -- so why aren't they being responsible and searching for the same question before asking it anew? Spam/overpost seems like a violation of the Community Guidelines
D) do you think people constantly ask "what is 2+2" in the math category? Hardly any agenda in an objective question like that, so no reason to turn it into propaganda (which also would seem to be a TOS violation)

Of course I realize it. But I also realize that it might be a newbie who just came on and doesn't know that it's been asked a million times.
If it's just CJ/Primoa playing the same old arrogant baiting game, I tend to ignore him -- depends on how efficiently my Wellbutrin is working that day. ;)
But I do feel like keeping a bunch of stock answers on hand to just cut and paste, like the "Remember God is nothing more than a myth" guy does, esp when the same old questions pop up about the plausibility of Noah's ark and the free will and theodicy stuff.

Firstly, as was said, Newbies might not know a question has been asked previously.
Secondly, the question they want to ask may have a different purpose or a different spin on it compared t what was assked before... or they want a different type of answer.
Thirdly, I know that my understanding and revelation of the Word grows and becomes more complex, so I can answer the same question for people more than once, and each time I have a more in depth understanding to pass on...
Just my opinion, thats what this thing is here for lol

If you haven't noticed, this forum has a constant turnover. You can click on a question, answer it and go back for more, only to find that the list of questions has almost been replaced with a whole new set of questions. Nobody can keep up with all of them. Thus, the thousands of people that click into this forum easily miss most, if not nearly all, of the actual questions posted. Thus, the redundant questions come from different readers that did not see the previous questions.
Yes, I have answered the same question many times in some cases, but I realize that the questioner probably did not see the earlier questions so I repeat my answer for a new set of readers.

I've got an entire section in my word processor just for these occasions. I just have to pull up the answer, because I only have one answer to the same question, no matter how often it's asked. I just copy and paste. Works pretty good, and I stopped being irritated by the same questions. Some ppl just want to know what answers they will get. No biggie. I've had the same answers get best ans. regularly.
peace

That is MY question you displayed. I can ask any question I want to on this site. Just because other people may have asked it before doesn't mean you have to click on it and answer it again or make a question out of it yourself. And.... how do you KNOW I am a Christian? I said there has to be a creator - I didn't mention Jesus Christ. You just neede a topic to write a question for. Thanks for displaying my question, I'll get more answers now because you dimwitted atheists seem to want to keep answering the same ol questions. Cheers!!!! Gulp.

Wow, I never dreamed there would be people in the math category asking the answer to 2+2.
At the risk of further infuriating you, I'm going to wonder, again, why are so many non-believers even scrolling through this category?
Hmmm.........

Perhaps we don't see the questions as 'trite'. If someone needs understanding to a subject, it's no problem explaining it again. We all learn in different ways and from different people. Bless the ones who are still searching.

Golly geepsers! I get all flustered at this! I'll think that I'll go cry like a little girl over it, instead of just ignoring the questions that aren't worth answering.
Like atheists don't repeat the same questions over and over again too.

I suspect the same way that many nonchristians do the same. They're just meanspirited and taking potshots at other religions. Probably some of it comes from new users who don't know to use the search function.
