In a lot of Asian communities, eating shark fin is thought to cure diseases, extend life and make men more virile. Science has tested this theory hundreds of times and it turns out shark fin does none of these things. But people refuse to believe the science, Why?
The EXACT same belief exists in African countries concerning black rhino horn. Science has tested these theories and all of them are false.

Christians believe the bible is the word of god. But then a man did some research and wrote the book Misquoting Jesus. It is proof that the bible is a lie, that it has been falsified and made up by translators and scribes for 1700 years (until the advent of the printing press.) The bible is a story, a lie, and the evidence is right there, in that book. You cannot dispute it because the evidence is tangible, it is real, written down in ancient texts.
But you still insist that it IS real, that it IS the truth, that it IS the word of god. Why?

Good friends w/ person well into process of M to F, and her wife and kids. First experience with such a situation.

Any advice about how to treat her, conversation to avoid, etc.? Taking her to symphony tomorrow, wife next week. They can't both go at the same time because none of us can afford child care for 3 girls under age 6.

How long did you wait until you stopped using a backup method, the first time you went on the pill?

What body type are you? (overweight, average, or thin/underweight).

I'm asking because so many people have been saying that i should have waited 1 month before relying on birth control pills. But i waited 1 week, like the instructions said.

for the past 5 months i've seen constantly seen this girl all the time during work and she always looking at me and i finally talked to her and introduced myself and we were both constantly looking at each others eyes and smiling alot and i know i'm reading too much into this but i sensed there could be a good connection here. I'm 3 days away from my 7 placebo pills, and I know I'm supposed to have my period while I'm on those.

I was wondering if the period usually starts the first day of the placebo pills, or later? And does it last all 7 days? That seems like a long time...

1)The sum of two numbers is 18.If the larger number is twice the smaller number find the two numbers...
small no.= x so smaller number is 18???
bigger no= 2x-18 bigger number 12???
solution?
x+2x-18=18
3x+18+18 x=12 18-12=6 6x3+18???x=18
3x/3+36/3
is this right or what??

2) One number is one more than 3 times the smaller number.Their sum is 69.Find the numbers.haha still use the small...bigger representation like mine.(cant understand this?!!)

3)The larger of 2 no. is 12 more than half the smaller number find their number if their sum is 30.

4)Find 2 numbers whose sum is 31,one of which is 5 less than twice the other.

Just as a background, I'm a 22 year old male in roughly average physical shape for my age. A few months ago I was having chest pains and concerned about it I visited my doctor. He was mildly concerned I may have left ventricular hypertrophy (Based on an odd ECG) and so sent me to see a specialist.

Without doing any real tests, other than another ECG and quizzing me a little about the pains, I was discharged.

I've not suffered to badly from chest pains more recently, although quite often I find it difficult to fill my lungs with air. Even when consciously trying to take deep breaths, I struggle to 'quench' my need for air.

Is this normal or could it be an indicator for something more serious.

Its the shot developed to prevent cervical cancer. I have had the first shot and it huuuuuuurrrrt. Did you feel like you were getting punched in the arm? it was the worst shot ive ever had.
