I have noticed that people ask some really goofy, meaningless questions, and get tons of answers. But I have never gotten more (well, maybe once I did) than like 7 answers. Am I doing something wrong? Any tips or advice?

it's pretty much a hit and miss thing. when i first started here i got 2 answers. after awhile i averaged 7.
then i asked a question about eating cold pizza for breakfast and got 30 something and about eating breakfast food for dinner and got another 30 something.
keep your questions short. "would you rather" questions seem to be popular. (would you rather have quintuplets or be childless....would you rather lose a hand or a foot...etc)

Your topics aren't the sort to receive a lot of A's, but that's OK. Don't worry about it, doesn't matter. Ask what interests you. You're deducted 5 pts for Any Q, & you win no pts for getting a lot of A's.

Well maybe you should ask questions in a category that a lot of people hang out in, such as Polls and Surveys.

Hang out here in P&S and you will find some good things to ask and then the answers will pour in. Plus what Henry says has some truth to it. lol

People like to answer quick and mindless questions cuz then they can get pionts without giving it much thought, *doncha love being lazy!
