According to Conrady's standard a 70mm achromatic refractor must have f/14 - many are close to this.But a 125mm aims fot f/25 and 150mm - f/30!!!
The big achromats on the market are f/10 - f/8 and they cost hell a lot of money and if that above is right they should perform way worse at the same magnification and you would be better off with the mid ones and is that the case???Sure not!
If chromatic aberation is caused by rays falling at steeper angle and thus get more refracted then if the f-ratio is kept same it's fine.The only possible explanation I see comes from the fact that a bigger f/10 refractor will give more magnification with same eyepiece than the smaller refractor so if the smaller one is given such an eyepice (to reach that mag.) It will suffer the same chromatic aberration at f/10 but because of diffraction and other optics limitations it will be out of the question to detect it in so deteriorated image.

Face it folks, evolution is not grounded on science, but on the belief or desire that there is no god. I've read the books and there is nothing there but a whole lot of, " I postulate", " maybe this or that". No hard evidence.

I can find lots of manuscript, archaeological, historical, and philosophical evidence to support the claims of the Bible, especially the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Not one shred of hard evidence exists to show that the universe, planet Earth, zebras, people, fleas or even subatomic particles just came out of nothing.

BTW, Christians believe the Biblical account of creation because we believe in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, an event that is an historical fact.

IT TAKES MORE FAITH TO BELIEVE THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION THAN IT TAKES TO BELIEVE THE BIBLE.

If you watch high altitude balooons, they just float into the upper atmosphere. Gravity does not hold them back. Can't we use a slower, gentler means of thrust to lift satellites and space shuttles into orbit? Just trying to think outside the box here... What would keep a ship from breaking out of orbit at a very slow speed? It seems this would be much safer than strapping a highly explosive fuel tank to the capsule.

Near my chin, closer to my chin, when i pinch around I feel a lump under my skin. It doesn't feel like i have one there at all, and it's not visible, but i felt it when i squeezed it. Is that normal? What could it be? I would say it's about the size of a small pebble.

All the Government People have no kids that I know of in the Iraq let alone the Military which I am very Proud I am to say I did , but thats not am here for . I just notice none of there kids if are any if any them will serve in Iraq or be protected because Daddy is in the Congress or the Senate and therefore they do not serve overseas and to me that is not right

I've had my dear, little pomeranian/terrier dog for 14 years now...he is about 17 or so. He is so old and frail; he sleeps pretty much all day and has difficulty walking. When he has to poop, he cannot balance himself, so I have to hold him while he does so. He is weak and hardly weighs anything..
He does, however, eat his food and drink water. He has the energy to growl sometimes when he's annoyed, and when he gets happy to see someone, it shows. He still gets a little excited when he sees one of us eating something. But I see him getting weaker and weaker as a result of his old age. His muscles are very weak and he has little energy.
I do not know if I should put him to sleep at this point, since he does eat pretty normally, and sometimes shows signs of being a bit alert....although we see him getting so old and frail. I'm confused at this point, thinking that, A) I should wait till he is ill or B) Is he really suffering, although he has no obvious health complications

Today a hot chick who sat across from me on the city bus took out her phone ( katana ) and faced away from me. The light from the sun reflected of her phone and it was beamed at my eye I couldn't look away cuz she was too damn hot, untill she got off. Till then my eye feels very strange an funny.
