Is there anywhere that I can find the script to the play "You Can't Take It With You?"

And what do you know about the part of Mrs. Kirby? How big is the role, what type of character is she, etc.?

Thanks!

Don't know where, try the city library and if they don't have it ask if they can get it on interlibrary loan.

Mrs. Kirby is not a large role, but a fun one. She is mother to George, who wants to marry Alice Sycamore. The Kirbey's are very rich, very much into doing the proper thing and behaving in the proper manner. They are not happy people. The Sycamore's are very poor with a great love of life and joy in doing whatever they feel would be fun or interesting. They are quite "not right" by the Kirby's standards, but when they come for dinner at the Sycamores's they are thrust into a new kind of existence that they never new was there. They are reformed by their experience and George and Alice get married. It is a typical love story out of the Great Depression. and Mrs. Kirby starts out all snooty and stuck up Mrs GotRocks type, and winds up quite human after all. Have fun. IT is one of the greatest American plays.
