Is it better to use my Credit Cards, Traveler Checks,ATM's for Euros ? i plan on buying food and gifts while there.

My student loan was approx. $25,000. My payments were over $300 a month. It should've been paid off in 6 years. I was having a difficult time making the monthly payments. I discussed my situation with the loan company over the phone. They suggested that I consolidate my loan to lower the monthly payments. I consolidated it on the computer and electronically signed. They said it would take 30 days for approval and they'd send me a letter with my scheduled payment plan. Well, I received the letter and there is an accumulation of $25,000 interest. So, I'm suppose to pay $25,000 for the loan +$25,000 interest for a total of $50,000. I'll be paying $200 a month for the next 20 years! My loan that should be paid off in 5 years will now take 20 years to pay. I need to call the loan company and talk to them, but I'm not sure what to say. Any suggestions what I should do?

I have had such a rapid change in my life due to no outside facotrs (such as death of family, extreme event etc) that God is real and I should change my life for a life with him.

I am not mad, delusional, prone to gulibility or ill nor am I stupid, uneducated or lonely. My life has been based upon science and engineering, yet still I cannot deny God. I am happily married with great kids a good job and life is generally good (and has been for a while).

How can I have such a strong compulsion for God and Jesus Christ if it's all a bunch of ****?

I usually travel alone, as I usually take long trips for 2-4 months always.

I have been all over Europe, including Russia as well as Egypt, India, and Southeast Asia.


Maybe I am just tired of traveling but it seems like I always get lonely and bored when I am traveling.

I usually travel during the winter time, as this is when I have my freedom from my work.

It seems like I get lonely because it is difficult to meet people many times and i get bored because I feel like "oh, i am here now, now what?" and you cant go to the pub or bar every night, so get bored at night time especially.

Does anyone else get like this, what are ways you keep from being like this (if you travel alone, that is)?

I've joined a gym and decided i want to improve my upper body strength.
I am not bothered about being well toned.
I was wondering how i can achieve my goal. I've heard some people say "lift a lot of small weights" and some say the opposite, "lift few heavy weights".
Another question i have is; if i need to lift few weights 8-12 times with a gap of 60secs (which is what i've been doing), how many times do i need to do 8-12 reps per day?

There's this family that tends to cause trouble whenever they enter the store. Several times they have pushed away other customers saying that they were first in line. Other times if their prescription or photos are even 30 seconds late they cause a scene. Order being 30 seconds late I kinda understand but there's no excuse to pushing someone out of line. They are either Indian or Middle eastern. last name is Zand. I was just wondering if this is appropriate for their culture, so that's why they behave the way they do? I know some cultures, including mine, have certain behaviors that are considered appropriate if you have a certain ranking or make a certain amount of money that are considered inappropriate here. I want actual facts no stereotypes.

We are married fro 6months now. Ours si a love marriage. He lied for everything and cheated me.He gave me nothing from time of marriage.He showed me imaginary married life and world to me before marrying me.He doesnt earn he has no home so My parents supported us and gave a home to live. I am from very rich and high class family with masters in education. I started working also and he takes all my money and spends it of.He has never given me anything but knows how to take it from me. He made me sell my gold and ask money from my parents all the time coz i love him.He smokes, watches blue films, tv and playing cards and snookers on yahoo.he enjoys his life. He slaps me on my face if I argue.I love him and I am suffering. His family left him never supported him financially also at time we got married. I recently took a friend of mine home in Inglewood, Ca. There was an accident on the corner of two streets blocking the two lanes to go forward, cops everywhere. My friend (an older man that has been driving for longer than I have been alive), said to go around, cause we needed to go straight. Now, I did think about that when he said it;cause there were no flares, no cones, and no police officers signaling traffic, nothing.. so I went around. As soon as I went around, I heard a cop yell at me to pull over, so I did. He comes around the passenger side and yells at me "in what world does it say its okay to drive on the wrong side of the street!?" My friend actually had to wipe the spit off the side of his face. Along with spitting in my friends face, he insulted my intelligence, and yelled at me cause I drove on the wrong side of the street for half a second. Is this going too far?

I am thinking about creating a small stock exchange in my city.

How do you determine if another stock exchange is needed or not? We already have the NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX. Why create another stock exchange? I was thinking, what if terrorists try to blow up New York. Then the stock market is dead. We need a backup stock exchange in case there is some big trouble in NY.

How do you create a stock exchange? Do you have to have more than a million dollars to start? And do you have to be incorporated in order to start? What kind of computers and programs are needed that make a stock market function? Can you refer me to a book that explains in detail how the NASDAQ or NYSE got started and how it works?
Any information helps! Thank you.

I've read Wall Street, The Story of the Stock Exchange by Dorothy Sterling. But this book was very brief, written for children I guess. ;)

I have a 4 year degree in Marketing. I am working in McLean, VA (the busiest city in Northern VA, as well as worst traffic) as a Marketing assistant and getting paid 35K a year. Been a year since I got hired, all my friends work around this area (even marketing assistant) are getting paid at least 40-45K. Am I being ripped off by my employer?
