I have been married for almost a year with my husband and we have a 13 month old son. We chose to get married. The wedding was beautiful but I am confused about my husband. He hardly says he loves me, he always joking telling me he doesnt like me and then says just kidding. I knew him when he was dating his old girlfriend and he used to buy her gifts and be affectionate to her. I pretty much have to tell him to buy me a gift or what I want us to do on a special occasion. We don't really hold hands, We kiss once and a while . But we are really good friends. We have a lot in common and we enjoy each others company. But i know what he could be because I saw it when he was with his old girlfriend. I know that there is nothing between him and another girl because we are always together and there is nothing between him and his old girlfriend. Help...

We're unmarried and from Scotland, I signed the baby's birth certificate which gave me full parental rights to him, same as her.

She's rude, arrogant and really quite vicious, she's left me several horrible and nasty voicemails on my phone which I've kept recordings of, she's kicked me in the balls, thrown stuff at me and generally makes my life hell, the final straw came the other night when I was crawling on the floor playing with my son and she kicked my in the jaw cause me to chip my tooth off another tooth.

I love her but I'm ready to go, the house is in her and her fathers name as my credit's shocking but I have my wages paid directly into her account and I pay the mortgage from my wages as a standing order - from her account. She doesn't work.

Where do I stand with regards to getting 50/50 custody of my son and getting my share of the house.

Should I go now or should I stay for a while longer and build more evidence of her nasty bullying tactics, maybe keep a diary?

I'm looking for cities that have outdoor water fountains. Just got back from Madison, Wisconsin. They have one in their outdoor mall, surrounded by flowers with benches so you can sit and enjoy it. They also have an indoor year round tropical garden complete with a waterfall. Does your city have anything like these? I'd love to visit places like that but don't know where they are. Thanks.

My partner and I have just moved to France to retire, After a life time of working I have waited for this moment, fishing, writing, painting, generally loafing around. Since we came here 1 year ago I have built a new kitchen, redecorated 3 of the 5 bedrooms, built furniture, built a dining room re floored 6 rooms, I am tired out. When I mentioned painting to my partner, bless her, she bought me a 5 litre tub of emulsion and a new roller. Do other retired menfolk have this problem?

p.s. Wouldn't change her for anything...well maybe a new car

My boyfriend and I are planning a long weekend at a Florida beach in late September. Looking for a hotel/resort on the Gulf side (prettier beaches) where we can sit under an umbrella on the beach and have someone deliver tropical drinks to us (or at least have an outside bar we could walk up to). We'd like to keep it around $150/night. It doesn't sound that difficult, but we haven't had much luck finding a location that fits the bill. Any suggestions?

I have about 3K in credit car debit and $3,530.15 left owe on a car. I recently had a CD at the bank come up. Its worth 5k. I'm using about a thousand of it to move and want to put at leaste a thousand in the bank so I have at leaste some money in my savings. I do think I should pay one or the other off.

I have about $1,900 on one with an interest rate of 12%,$911.66 that is @ 0% .

I can't hear that idiotic argument anymore, that we have to stay in Iraq and Afghanistan, because the Terrorist would follow our troops.
That argument is getting so stale, its pathetic.
9/11 was a colossal failure of our inteligence (CIA, FBI), our non exciting airport security and Condo Rice, who was responsible for it.
The 19 turban wearing idiots, who caused the damage, would not have a snowball chance in hell today.
