Hey there! I have PCOS, and was told I would never be able to have children without the help of fertility drugs. I just had a little boy 8 days ago=) What I found helped the most with me was not to believe the dr.'s and carry on with my life like nothing had happened. As soon as I told myself I was fine (I cried for a few days) and got back to my life, I ended up pregnant that month after trying for only one month. It can happen!! I have two other friends with PCOS both have children. One tried for five years before being able to conceive. It just takes a good attitude and lots of sex. I'm sorry its taken so long for you but don't give up. I think God has a plan for everyone and maybe he's waiting for the right time to send you an angel. Take care~Lots of baby dust!=) Aimee

I have PCOS and was treated for 10 years with the pill. Last year, I went off of the pill for a month because the timing of my period would have conflicted with a GYN appointment that I had scheduled months in advance. Guess what? I got pregnant! My son is almost 1 now.
For years I had been told that I would need to go through in vitro. I'm not sure what happened, but, somehow, I did get pregnant. Even my doctor, who is an in vitro/fertility specialist was shocked. I truly feel that it was meant to happen.
The good news is, the hormones of pregnancy seem to have lessened my PCOS symptoms, which my doctor said sometimes happens. It could be the thyroid is the problem and not necessarily the PCOS. Have you seen a specialist? They might be able to help you. Have you considered that your partner may also have an issue? Again, this is something that a specialist may be able to tell you. I have 2 friends currently going through in vitro who are PCOS patients as well. However, one of them is married to a guy who also had some problems, which they are trying to work with. So, it might not just be your PCOS....
Good luck to you, either way. I understand how you feel.

I have PCOS too, and no, I haven't concieved yet. although I am 2 days late now, (keep fingers crossed). There are many treatments that you can take to help you concieve. PCOS and an underactive thryoid sometimes prevents you from ovulating. Ask your OB about metaformin to regulate your insulin resistance. Also, do some research about a herb called Vitex. It's a herb that helps women regulate their cycles. Many woman swear by it, i've tried it, but didn't work even tho I only tried for 1 month, but I had side effects. I'll be asking my ob about metaformin soon. Woman with pcos commanly have to used fertility drugs to help ovulate and get a viable egg. Good luck and i'll have you in my prayers also.

I feel the same as you as I pray everynight too and feel unlucky that its not happened for me either. I have had clomid didnt work - lost weight no change in menstruation (still irregular) - tried agnus castus for 6 months no joy there either.
I have currently given up no more charting - pills - checking cervical fluid - ov testing. Stopped it all except healthy eating.
I have two children(with ex) both concieved before I knew I had pcos. I have not concived since finding out 6 years ago though Me and new partner had tests done he was fine mine came back as having pcos.I count myself lucky that I have two healthy children allready nd there is people out there with none just feel a bit sad for my partner not having a biological child off his own even though he treats my two as his own.
THERE IS SOME GOOD STORIES THOUGH
I have a cousin with a baby concived while taking metformin.
Two of my friends have babies concived naturally. A third friend is currently pregnant and she was using agnus castus before she concieved.

hi there, yes! there ae definitely many women with PCOS that get pregnant, but you need to talk to a doctor, with as little as some prescription pills such as clomid or so, could help you a lot to get pregnant, try to talk to an obgyn, you can also ask an RE (fertility specialist) online for free to get their advice, and read more about PCOS and conceiving, try www.FertilityTies.com
good luck and don't give up!

hi! comparable as you're,I even have pcos and that i did no longer understand until I even have given beginning to my first baby (that replaced into 11 years in the past).I did have a complicated time conceiving on our 2nd baby,it took us 7 a million/2 yrs,and now he's 3 a million/2 years olds.My medical expert advised me that ladies those with pcos can conceive its in basic terms a be counted of timing and greater than a number of different prayers.Ooh forgot to tell you my age on my 1st daughter,i replaced into 27 and on my 2nd,i replaced into 37.i'm a lot older than you as quickly as I have been given pregnant so do no longer loose desire, purely shop on attempting without particularly attempting, each now and then putting various rigidity on your being pregnant makes it greater durable for you to conceive, purely loosen up and take your innovations out of it.i'm going to be praying for you.

Sure there is still hope for you to conceive. Have you been to your obgyn lately? Have you asked about other alternatives? Like taking Clomid? It's a very mild fertility drug and usually one of the first things a dr. will put you on. It will really help your chances of conceiving a child.
Good luck~
