I'm pregnant with my first child and both parents on both sides are deceased, no family around and moving to a new area. I may get a c-section and need help with everyday chores plus the new baby. My husbands job is very demanding and can only be with me for a couple days and then he has to go back to his routine of 6 days a week/ 12 hrs a day. Will it be a good idea to hire a nanny?... even if we can't afford it?

i weigh myself probably every three days or longer, and everytime i get a new weight, i weigh myself of a morning when i first wake up & use the bathroom, one day it will say 221 and then the next time i weight myself it will say 212, ive been tryin to lose weight so i dont know whats going on, but here lately its only been goin between 213-216pds.

dvd player with normal 480p content projected at a true 480p

versus

dvd player upscaling a regular dvd to 1080p projected at 1080p.

It seems these upscalers are not "adding" any content - just stretching the image.

I understand if you have a 1080p native displaying 480p will be choppy - just like trying to watch regular cable on an hd tv.

I already have a Bachelors degree. I want to do either Army Special Forces or Intelligence, (MOS 18A or 35). Enlisted recruiter says I should enlist because I will be allowed to pick my job; he says if I go OCS I will be placed where the army needs me and push papers. I do not want to push papers! Moreover I would not like to be in the position of "princess" to my subordinates, and am not entirely confident about my "leadership" capabilities off the bat (haven't been asked to lead anyone ever). I would like to be promoted to Lieutenant eventually, presumably. But I do not want a cushy job, and I don't care about money very much. Still, I am having trouble answering this question. People seem to have strong opinions both ways.

ok well my mom yesterday put this blonde hair dye in my black hair and it looks orangish yellow!!!
and im hella mad cuz i didnt expect it too look like it does.

I am married for 14 years. I admit that I did the most horrible thing and want my husband to try to forgive me. I feel like my life will be over if he doesnt. My answer at the moment would be NO! My son is struggling to eat "our" foods and the HV said to starve him, that he would eat when he was hungry. So I said what if it goes on for a week? Her reply was HE WON'T STARVE HIMSELF HE WILL EAT EVENTUALLY. I gave it 6 days of him eating the tiniest amounts of sandwiches and then he started getting blood in his poos. I gave up after that, I am not going to starve him like that again I feel like a terrible mother but I am glad I did not listen to her and trusted my own instincts.
Want to know the best bit? Has the HV phoned to see how we are doing?? HAS SHE HELL AS LIKE. So there you have my rant for the week!

DUBLIN, Calif. — Audra Schmierer's Social Security number really gets around. It has been used by at least 81 people in 17 states, most of them probably illegal immigrants trying to get work.

Audra Schmierer eyes a map as she talks about sites where people used her ID number to get work. The federal government took years to discover the number was being used illegally, but authorities took little action even then.
