I was a Trooper in the TA for 2 years and I'm considering maybe joining the French Foreign Legion. Reason is theres F*** all for me back here. Trouble was I was discharged on a medical for a stupid reason. Anyone whos been and done it, like to hear from you with advice and experiences.

I already paid my bill to the doctor, the amount that the insurance company said I owed. Now the doctor is sending me a copy of a letter that the insurance company sent to them, saying they got overpaid. However, the insurance company has not sent me any letter saying that I owe anything. Now the doctor wants me to take care of it. Is that legal? Shouldn't that be the doctor's problem?

Hi there! Has anyone ever experienced a runny nose as a early preggo sign? I am 8dpo out of 11. (So AF will start in 3 days time) and i was reading on a website that a runny nose with NO cold or flu or allergies can mean early pregnancy?! I am NOT A FAN of the "am i pregnant question", i was just wondering what you think about this?!

Personally i thought it was sooo funny, but then it is mucus so you never know...sorry tmi!

I'm just wondering, if it is.. it just pisses me off everytime I think about it... happenned about 2 years ago, and
I still get pissed off everytime I think about it...
it was for no reason too, they "thought" that I was gonna do something bad, so they tackled me to the ground and then punched me and kicked me ..i am not sure if they can do that legally or not, i mean they can probably tackle you if you try to run away or something (which I didnt), but is it ok for them to do the punching/kicking also? just wondering..

We spent the weekend at my inlaws (where my husband's niece spends 90% of her time). As usual, I thought I was going to blow a gasket because of her behavior. She is rude, whiny, disrespectful, wild and disobedient. I have known this child for about 4 years and she is getting worse. Her parents are not together and neither of them really have time for her, so my inlaws have kind of taken her in. She lives with her mother and her 13 year old brother (whom I also hear is unruly), but when she is ready to go to my inlaws house all she has to do is blow a whistle and they are there to get her. When she's ready to go home they take her home, no matter how late it is. She rolls around the floors, she hangs onto furniture, she climbs walls, she jumps off furniture, she even hangs off my husband and his parents like they are gym equipment. I don't understand it. When they tell her to do something, she doesn't do it right away. They have to ask her several times and even threaten her.

I noticed myself doing that early this morning when I was hungry. I wasn't paying attention, & my mind was on something else, & later I realized my hand was in the bag for a long time, & the popcorn kept slipping out of my hand. & finally when I noticed it, I was able to grasp it & take it out of the bag & put it in my mouth.

***I know I shouldn't be eating popcorn in the morning, but that's what certain medicines do to you.

I was getting ready and my dad came home (which is unusual) and he brought me 3 kittens and told me to see if they would drink but they wont. They are VERY small. I dont no how old they are. What should I do? I am only 14. Should I give them some milk until my parents can get the special kitten milk?

I have an ear infection, but it is too late to get to the doctor today. I have had it all weekend. A little liquid comes out at night when I sleep, there is not much pain, and no feeling of pressure, but there has been the same level of hearing loss for the last few days (it's like I have a cotton ball in my ear).

I don't have a sore throat, cough, or any other symptoms/conditions. Just the ear thing.

Is there something like drops that I can use to treat this? Something I can get without a prescription?

For those of you who are unaware, John Edwards is a predator, he and his fellow trial laywers prey on the medical community, feasting on contingency awards of 30% - 40%.

Doctors, hospitals, nursing homes and the entire medical community pay excessive insurance costs to protect themselves from personal injury lawyers. Insurance companies and drug companies are besieged by these cretins, passing on the expense to the consumer.

With jury awards looking like lotto pay-offs, is it any wonder how predators like Edwards, are gazillionaires, as a result?

For those of you who have had needless cesarians, thank John Edwards.

Democrats fight tort reform and don't want you to know that the USA is the ONLY country in the world where you can file a frivolous law suit and lose, not have to compensate the innocent party for their legal expenses and loss of reputation. In other countries, the loser pays- these country's courts aren't filled with frivolous suits- thanks John Edwards!
