Wonderful book! It's Strunk & White with a modern twist. Who would ever have thought that someone could make English grammar funny and interesting - and a bestseller! I highly recommend it (especially to the average Yahoo! Answers user who, by the look of things, has barely learned to speak English, let alone learned its rules of proper usage)!

I'm not sure when literacy became nerdy, but let's hope it's a passing fad like the mistaken idea that cigarettes are cool. People are judged much more by their powers of communication than they would guess. For those of you who think that speaking and writing well are for the geeks and nerds, think again. Chances are the people whom you respect most in the world are highly literate - that is as long as your role models aren't Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan, in which case... well, I can't help you.

Write well - be proud!

It's a funny book. However, the author is right! She points out a lot of things that people miss everyday. Have you ever read signs on the side of the road on a road trip. People are hilarious without trying to be!

Plus, if you are an aspiring author, it becomes a little guide book on what no to do!

Well, I like grammar (hence the name), so yeah--but I found it awfully repetitive. And my dad has a better version of the panda joke.
