One night Officer Tackleberry arrests Joe Blow for DWI and Resisting a Police Officer. During the booking process the Officer Mirandizes Joe and tries to ask him questions about his drinking that night. Joe tells the Officer to get lost and invokes his right to a lawyer. Tackleberry stops questioning Joe at that time. Joe is placed in jail that night. The next morning Detective Callahan learns that Joe is in jail. Joe is a suspect in a robbery Callahan is working. Joe has not seen a lawyer yet and has not been to court. Detective Callahan does not know that Joe has already been read Miranda. Callahan goes to the jail and Mirandizes Joe again. Joe waives his Miranda rights and talks to Callahan. Joe is alone during the interview and eventually confesses to the robbery. Was Miranda applied properly in this scenario? Why?

Evolution has too many facts that can't be denied but why do so many deny them? My grandma actually came to my mother's school and took her out of biology class because they were teaching them evolution. This causes ignorance and you lose your logical thinking part in your brain. There is evidence in micro and macro evolution. I found out my freshman year of high school, it took a 14 year old to out smart millions of creationists and other people.

I found a beautiful place but its a condo. The maintenance fees are fairly reasonable, only 160 monthly and the area is located. The only problem is that It has 1 bathroom which doesnt isnt so good for resale value and eventually my fiance and I want to have at least 2 dogs. I just have to share my testimony becuse I beleive that through faith nothing is impossible and God truly is amazing. My ex and I broke up almost a year ago and we have been hanging out and it didnt really work cos I wanted him back and tried everything to get him back to no avail. We started having really bad arguments and the last one was so bad that we were shouting at each other. He started dating this girl and he told me about it and it really crushed me cos i still loved him. So I prayed and everytime I paryed he was still in my heart. So i decided to pray and believe god that we would get back together. It was hard knowing he was with this other girl but i poured put my hearty to god and so many times i felt like giving up but am glad god gave me the grace not to. Becuse I have my man back and god truly is wonderful. I just had to share my testimony and tell people to keep praying and beleiev even ehen you cannot see a change cos GOD IS AMAZING!

I am 30 weeks pregnant and I just found out I have gestational diabetes. Ohio Caresource will pay for the blood glucose meter and all supplies. However, I was wondering what type of meter they will pay for. Does anyone know? This is my first time using a glucose meter and I have to check my blood 4 times a day. I am looking for the least painful meter. - thanks.

since the recent water shortage the town i live in has raised the cost of water. my land lord without any notice has turned off my water and is putting in a meter. i now have to come up with $175 for a water deposit. can he turn my water off without give me notice? since water was included in the rent is he responsible for helping me get my water turned on?

I started having a crush on this lady who is going through a divorce. She has one daughter. Off and on she says she wants to try to work on her marriage. So I back off and then she comes strong saying how I have sexy eyes and we even went on a date. Then I tell her I like her and would like to be her man and she gets mad. Why would someone lead you on and then get mad when you want to do something about it?

She said she can't because of her current situation.. seems odd to me.

Celebrating the fact that i was accepted into arguably the best university (post-graduate) in the world for what i do, i had a few too many and got cautioned (the £80 kind) for drunk and disorderly. I have worked damn hard to get where i am (about 18hrs/day every day for 5 years) dont want to lose the chance for the international career i have developed. I am basically blind without glasses or contact lenses, being the possessor of eyes with severe myopia, my eyes are also fairly dry, have a very steep base curve that makes it difficult for me to find suitable contact lenses, and i have moderate astigmatism to top it all off! Crazy! Lol. Does anyone else have such bad luck with their eyes, or is it just me?

I am an agnostic that wants a higher power (god) to exist but have some serious doubts. I've read the bible and I truly must say that I can not honestly believe in a book that was written by primitive people 2000 years ago, especially in the middle east.

I am not one of those people who has to see or experience something to believe in it, but it must be at least somewhat logical. I've examined both sides of the argument and apparently it just seems one sided to me. The best argument most religions can put up all point to old scrolls, testaments, bibles, etc.

I've asked god to come into my life several times. I keep an open mind as best I can and seek him. I've read the bible and other literature, but when I do this, it only makes me more critical. I know a big part of the Christian religion focuses on Jesus and other prophets, but I'm focusing more on god. What I am really asking for is a different way of looking at this so maybe I can understand
